It works for desktop mode, but it doesnt work, but it cant be recognized as a controller at all.  I have tried games from multiple platforms, I have tried emulators, nothing.  In fact, the 360 controller doesnt even appear in the devices and printers...

Is there a way to change the startup "rainbow" effect? I easily found options for changing the shutdown effect, but it would be nice to not try to cause me a seizure every time I boot it up.
