Booting in EFI mode on ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 motherboard
    Hi all,

I'm looking for assistance with clarifying on if ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 supports EFI at all and how would I boot in EFI mode.
Haven't found it in the BIOS settings.

On this particular question I've got an official vague answer from Asus Customer Service Support:

    Quote:

    Dear ASUS Customer,
Thank you for contacting ASUS Support.

Such option is not present in the BIOS, you just need to insert bootable media UEFI or EFI and boot from it that's all.

What operating system you are going to install ?

Our apologies for any inconveniences caused to you.

    Kind Regards,

I answered to this. Still no answer from ASUS in 8 days.

    The questions which are left:
Is it official that this motherboard supports EFI?
If the answer is yes, how would I toggle the boot modes?

The checks I do from within Ubuntu installer live cd:
    https://itsfoss.com/check-uefi-or-bios/#linux
    https://askubuntu.com/questions/1625...i-uefi-or-bios
indicate that I booted in non-EFI (Legacy) mode which is not what I want.

Would be grateful for clarification on this.
