    Issue (In addition to the problem description please let us know if the problems started recently and if you remember changing anything around the same time, etc.)
    The internet keeps dropping, Wi-Fi stays connected but the no internet icon appears and stops working. This happened since day 1, more or less, seems to happen more often when in turbo mode (while playing games) and when connecting bluetooth devices. Problems fixes by restarting the network adapter, but that is not a solution as I can´t play (on a gaming laptop) absolutely anything online due to constantly being kicked. I already tried a big variety of drivers, old and new, from the first available to the last, also tried unticking the turn off to save power option. Here is the wlan report result.

    You may want to try the hardwired ethernet connection temporarily to see if the issue persists. That would tell you if something is killing your connection or if it truly is the wireless hardware.

    Problem only happens through WIFI connection, I tried on many connections at friend´s and even at the airport, everywhere happens, while on my smartphone the connection is as stable as a rock. I just did a clean windows reinstall and if the problems persists I´ll send it to the RMA as I don´t know what else I can do.

    exactly the same issue... technical support (RMA) "can't reproduce the issue". Very disappointed with the Asus service.
    Ordered new wifi module - will see is it helps or not (not delivered yet).

    Unfortunately haven´t fixed it, neither worked changing the network adapter, tried with a Intel 9260NGW (gave up after 1 month of trying to get a RMA and Asus telling me to reinstall Windows, after telling them I already did that and even tried using Ubuntu). For those whom are getting the internet drops while gaming all I can recommend is, if you play with a controller, plug out your mouse. In my case, that made the problem less frequent, as an example while playing RDR2 with my mouse plugged in, I get drops every 15-30mins, If I plug out the mouse I can play for hours without problems. Thought it could be a BIOS problem, but I just updated to the new .306 the problem still happening.

    Allright, so as someone said here, with another Asus laptop, this time a ROG series, https://www.reddit.com/r/ASUSROG/com...fi_connection/ by disablind the NVidia GPU using the device manager my wi-fi problems seems to vanish, until I enable it again so I can play with decent framerates but with internet drops every 5 minutes. Not a solution, but for those who don´t want to play and just download or IDK may work until we find a definitive solution, if so. This looks like a PSU problem, probably ASUS using cheap, noname, components or a bad BIOS configuration for the power management, no idea.

    It seems like for me Intel Wireless AC 9260 Dual Band M.2 Card non vPro helps to solve the issue.
    With this adapter, it works fine without connection dropping. My wife tests her laptop a few weeks - no disconnections.

    So, maybe it can somehow help you. It was cheap - ~18-19 euro (incl delivery).

    same problem with asus fx505dv-al128 did u buy wireless adapter yourself? what about service? is this breaking the guarantee?

    My laptop became completly unusable when downloading seomething, apart from the fact that the connection keeps droping every 15 20 min if let alone, If I try to play something or just watch something on youtube the internet drops every 1-2 mins. :mad:

    Managed to fix it by changing again the wireless adaptor to the Intel 9260NGW (the one inside the laptop, I completly gave up on the Asus warranty as is nonexistent for me even that I have the Asus Premium Care bought...) and changing the channel width to 20Mhz Only. To do this you have to open device manager -> Network adapters ->right click on Intel(R) Wireless-AC 9260 160MHz -> Properties -> Advanced and change Channel width (Either 2.4Ghz, 5Ghz or both) to 20Mhz only, click okay and restart... this seems to have fixed the issue in my case as now I´ve been downloading and watching streams at the same time and there were no errors.

    This is not possible on the original 8822CE as there are very limited options in the device manager -> Adaptor advanced properties.

    Alright, so after all this time I found a fix that works for me, after trying everything I found on the internet, after changing the Wi-Fi module, trying other operative systems and lots of other ¨solutions¨, the thing that did it for me was setting the ARMORY CRATE application to WINDOWS. I don´t understand how is this possible, but works, I also had lots of stuttering every then and now in certain games (GTA V, State of Decay...) that are also gone, which doesn´t make any sense since in Windows mode the fans never gets to full speed, but still games don´t throttle, while in turbo mode they do every few minutes, in Windows mode doesn´t. No more throttle and no more ¨No internet¨.

    The throttle problem occurs on various other laptops with this processor, the CPU gets throttled every 2-3 minutes to 400Mhz for a few seconds and FPS drops to 1-2, only in certain games to me at least, but if you have an Asus laptop with the Armory Crate app you might want to try this, if it doesn´t work simply putting the profile to Windows Mode you may have to set in Windows´s own energy settings to set the Minimum CPU state to something like 50%.

    Hope this helps other people too!
