update for those having problems finding the previous Aura downloads ASUS has provided.
anyone with a motherboard released pre-2019;
you will find the packages in your motherboard's download section, Drivers & Tools > Utilities > "See All Downloads"
for those with newer boards;
just browse through an older motherboard's downloads sections, such as: https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards...Desk_Download/

getting Armoury Crate & Aura Creator to finally work...
I recently added an ROG Ryujin 360 to one of our systems and again went through all the trouble of trying to get it syncing with my motherboard & other aRGB devices, or functioning at all actually.
Once again having the same issues of devices not being recognized in Aura Sync or Live Dash, no matter which versions I tried.
So also again tried uninstalling/deleting everything and installing the latest Crate + Creator softwares which again led to no functional control of any LEDs(MB, AIO, or aRGB case).
So this time I did a quick reinstall of the latest version of Windows 10, opting to keep my existing files & settings.
Voila, latest versions of Armoury Crate & Aura Creator are working perfectly for all devices.
It seems the ASUS software, no matter which version(s), has a real problem in Windows with the storage of device IDs and later having conflict issues with those IDs. If we could determine exactly where/how this data is stored in the system it should make the processes much easier.
I don't know what ASUS support tech's problem is, I would guess it is based on 3rd party support groups that have no access to actual software data so cannot provide us with any helpful advice in these situations.
The exact steps I took after the OS reinstall were:
to extract the SetupROGLSLService archive and run the ArmouryCrateInstallTool,
then restart Windows,
then install Armoury Crate app through the built-in Microsoft Store,
then restart Windows again,
then install the Aura Creator app through the Microsoft Store.
Now I have a fully functional & synced aRGB system using my own lighting patterns created in Aura Creator and setup through Armoury Crate.

I hate having to use the MS Store for anything and always keep it and it's apps disabled. So this time I just made sure I had these services & apps installed before disabling the entire Store feature on the new OS install.
Fix for AURA Service Unavailable after Armoury Crate Clash
After attempting so many solutions & hours of digging through the app logs, I drafted a solution & details which may help for those who are using Armoury Crate/Aura Sync.

I am sick of this asus - fix aura sync
I have to reload Aura Service almost every day because Aura Sync continues to revert to full rainbow cycle. I have no other RGB software and no other conflicts.
My System:
Intel i9 10900k
Maximus XII Extreme
128 gb GSkill Trident Ram
Asus ROG RTX 2080 Super
Asus 850 w Thor PSU
WHY ON EARTH AM I STILL HAVING PROBLEMS???? Why after YEARS of people posting this SAME issues can you not get this software correct?
At this point, I am seriously considering leaving ASUS all together. With this kind of setup I should not have to suffer this problem.
