    G46vw Restore UEFI Firmware?
Hey guys I installed windows 7 on this machine a few months back and now I am in the process of making a hackintosh. When I installed Windows 7 I lost my EFI partition. Is there a way to restore UEFI firmware? I created a GPT harddisk but I need UEFI in order to install windows 7 on a GPT hard disk. Thanks!

Yes you will need to create a UEFI USB install chip and maybe create a boot64 file. Check out these guides and upgrade notes

Yes rufus will set you up. I haven't used it, just created it myself. But other here have had great luck with it. Then you will be able to install to your GPT disk.
