Am following this thread for sometime, and wanted to throw in my 2cents, system running rock stable:

What surprises me, is "low" memory write speed. Someone has a clue or help?
Mainboard: APEX VI + G Skill RipjawsV F4-3600C16-8GVK @1.4V
As well, usually RTL and IOL values are same (A1-B1-C1-D1....A2-B2-C2-D2,....), but in this case RTL (A1) is 57 instead of 59 and IOL (A1) is 6 instead of 8. When I try to setup the values manually in BIOS, system will not post anymore, it is odd, I have to leave RTL+IOL values on auto.
I am hoping as well for a modded 3301 ApexVI bios with new modules and microcode and maybe rebar. -

Much appreciated for your keen help there mate.
I am currently using the 5003006 microcode for my 10940x on my Rampage encore and I am not sure if i should flash this modded bios since I can not really see for which CPU is intended.
Also, I do not own a 3000 series to have the advantage of re bar but maybe you could explain in more detail if your current modded bios does have that feature.
Thanks a lot. -

The 10 series have CPUID=50657 so the modded bios have the latest ucode 05003101 for 109xx which include 10940 X. Your 5003006 is older.
FYI. It's kind of logical the numbering of the CPUIDs:
CPUID=50654 is core i9 79xx X
CPUID=50656 is core i9 99xx X
CPUID=50657 id core i9 109xx X
CPUID=50655 would have been 89xx X but as far as I know 89xx X does not exist so CPUID 50655 is unused. -

Is this latest mc 3101 better then 3001 i did not like 3006. Better performance?
O bios 901 for me ia great for overclock (no matter teu mc) on My 10980xe have not tryed 701 rebar, 3000 series *partners have to release the vbios for the suport. -

VCCIO/VCCSA on SK-X do not affect on memory overcloking.
Uncore voltage that is matter. Asus bios do not show actual voltage, but on EVGA x299 Dark can monitor it
default 0,85-0,95 , safe +400mv for 4000/4200
Also, some cpu's has bad one of IMC, and cannot overclock beyond DDR4-3400 with uncore under 1.35v
