If the new cpu's come with toothpaste is good news to have them delidded and get some lower temps and extra MHz. Direct Die with conductonaut still owns soldering.
I tested yesterday again Microcodes 64 and 60 along with bios 0802, and in my case MC 64 gets about 100-150 less points in Cinebench, among others. So in terms of performance 64 falls a bit behind versus 60.
Would also be nice to have an Asus MEI Firmware update to the latest 11.12 version present in some new bios's. -

Hi vmanuelgm , For Cascadelake X and W LGA 2066 all SKUs were STIM same as Core i9 9XXX series. So they're hopeless for deliding them.
Lastest MEI Firmware for X299 PCH was 11.11.65.1590 I'd paired it with Intel ME Driver 1919.14.0.1269 2019-07-05. They're working together smooth.
Attachment 82432
Intel Cascadelake X/W/SP/D Microarchitect
According to Cascadelake Microarchitect. The VNNI unit consisted on both 256-bit wide port 0 and 1 only. They are support INT16/INT8 data format
on both 256-bit data ports. So the new DL boost code running at the same speed as CPU clock itself. These were bring many overclock headroom for
Cascadelake X/W/SP/D Series CPU than Skylake X/W/SP/D a lot. You can reach 5.0+ GHz via AIO cooling easily due this new DL boost code no need
AVX2 or AVX512 offset at all.
The new Cascadelake X/W/SP/D support new Intel Turbo Boost MAX 3.0 October 2019 update quite well. New TB MAX 3.0 featuring upto 4 cores max
boost support compare to our Skylake X/W/SP/D that limiting only 2 cores boost. If you love the speed 5.0+ GHz and beyond. 10980XE was the most
suitable for your rigs @vmanuelgm. :o:o:o

Thanks for the 2002 on the Rampage VI Extreme, no issues to report other than I have to run my memory at default speed until Asus resolve the issue:D
