Which microcode version of the 1902 bios on R6E? You posted 49 and 60. Not sure what the difference is. Thanks.

Sorry just to be clear:
Does any of the two published (on page 1 in this thread) modded R6E 1902 BIOS (49 or 60) have microcode 5E? I assume not - right?
Does the 60 BIOS now replace 5E because 5E is outdated now?
The official 1902 have 5E but that is not modded, so that means modded 1902 CPUID 5E is no longer available - right?
If 1902 version CPUID 60, is now the standard, have anyone tested 1902 CPUID 60 and gotten good results? Any issues? -

Yes, microcode 60 is the last microcode
With 60 microcode, TJMax at 110° (heating 5° more so, and last fix for security
With 49 microcode, TJMax ŕ 105° -

Use Asus Flashback and check if the file after decompressing has the right name to be used under Flashback. -

Ok, thank you!
I'll go with the 60 version then.
Thank you once again for all your hard work, keeping the R6E BIOS up to date!
For instance, the whole VROC thing is still evolving and it is great that you keep updating the RSTe modules (that includes VROC) so we can benefit from all the work Intel is doing. -
08-09-2019, 11:48 PMInt8bldrAquantia AQC-107 F/W module version 3.1.90 and Driver version 2.1.18.0
Not sure where this should be posterd since it is not strictly a BIOS mod but it is a F/W updated you need to find and apply yourself.
So please feel free to direct where this should be posted to be in the right place.
There is a new F/W and associated drivers for the the R6E 10Gbit Ethernet chip: Aquantia AQC-107.
It is not a part of the actual R6E BIOS, but you can flash the chip from the windows command prompt with admin rights. Pretty easy actually.
See https://www.aquantia.com/support/driver-download/ for official download page. Select AQC107 (not any of the other variations like AQC107S or AQN107)
Driver is version 2.1.18.0
Firmware is version 3.1.90
If you have never flashed the Aquantia AQC-107 chip, it is now thoroughly out of date and might be worth flashing. -

Any chance we can get a modded BIOS 0702 for the Omega with the 49 microcode?
