New microcode extracted from 'mcupdate_GenuineIntel.dll' file in latest Windows Skip Ahead build 18885.

Your last mod with Rampage VI Extreme Bios 1704 with 5D works great !

Thanks to Marvin of win-raid.com, 5E (via mc extractor) is available for modding to 1704

I updated your modded bios using the 5D and no issues with intel optane.

Valid

For some reason I get "Not a valid bios file" after reading it from USB or HDD from Bios Update. Any solution? Only tried the 5e microcode.

From the first post:

Use USB Flashback to flash these bios

This bypasses the issue of flashing modified BIOS.

Sorry for the delay. I do not know which temperature issue you are talking about? my CPU is the I9 7900 overclocked to 4.6 Ghz Under water, my highest core temp during gaming is 69 - 70 degres C, for me that is acceptable.

I have a desk pc and because of the layout bios flashback port is in a though place to reach, i have to disassemble a lot of things to put a usb stick in there... I tried with ezflash from bios but kept on recieving "file is not a proper bios" error, is there another way of i can flash these bioses?

Maybe plug a USB extension cable into the flashback port? A modified BIOS fails the check that demands official BIOS, you can only bypass it with the flashback procedure as this does not verify the BIOS.

53 bios Installed no problems so far altough my Optane configuration got destroy but no matter, had all the files backeds in my NAS.

Can I use VROC with non-INTEL Branded NVMe (The Samsung) with your BIOSs ? Because in Normal BIOS I can do any type of RAID ever RAID-0 :(

I have R6E board with latest BIOS update, 9980XE CPU, also I have recently bought the Following

Asus Hyper M.2 X16 PCIe 3.0 X4 Expansion Card V2
Intel VROC STD CPU HW RAID KEY 0/1/10 (VROCSTANMOD)
4x Samsung 970 EVO Plus - 1TB PCIe NVMe
2x Samsung 950 Pro - 512GB PCIe NVMe

The Problem I have that I can't Build a raid-0 Volumes in BIOS, in both DIMM2 and Hyper m.2 card v2

Things I tried:
in BIOS tried to let it take control from CPU and from PCH, both failed
also tried to make make VROC hyper m.2 and DATA hyper m.2 and last tried PCIE 4X and made it DIMM2.

what Shall I do ? anyone have this new CARD Hyper m.2 V2 ??

I do but its 4X Optane. I made sure to use a CPU slot that was capable of 4x4x4x4 and set that slot to Hyper 16x.

Keep in mind that Intel has been terrible about conflicting information but my understanding is that having a key lets you use any supported drives, not just Intel ones.

Only Intel NVMEs

You cant build an RAID with Samsung NVME SSDs, not in Dimm2 or elswhere. Only with Intel NVME SSDs and only with the VROC Hardware Key. Why? Ask ASUS
The only thing you can build with not Intel NVMEs is Software RAID. How ? Please search Google :) <3

Does anybody have a 1603 BIOS file for the Rampage VI Extreme board they could post somewhere or send to me? It was the most stable BIOS file I ever used and I stupidly updated to 1704 and we all know that BIOS is borked to hell & back and ASUS has removed it from their site. Currently stuck on 1503 and I can't get my Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB DDR4 3600mhz 128GB kit to run at 3600mhz on 1503. It only goes to 3200mhz. So any help would be appreciated as I cannot find a 1603 BIOS file anywhere...
