Personally I do not bother with these security patch, they exist for 10 to 20 years (Spectre, Meltdown, etc ...) and we lived very well with :D :D

Yes Master Tistou77 , Both Intel 02000064 and 02000065 microcode were not final version of microcode for Intel TAA vulnerable issue.
Intel plan to release new revision soon. There are new " MACHINE CHECK ERROR Avoidance on Page Size Change " found and disclosed.

Only Sunny Cove Microarchitect won't affect. Cascadelake X couldn't survived according to Intel. Master tistou77.
Please recheck affacted processor list again from the link (Table 3). Only Atom and Knight Series survivied.:p

I saw CascadeLake, but not CascadeLake-X for X299 (as Skylake-X for X299, eg)
And in the unaffected CPU list, there is no CascadeLake-X (0657) ?

Cascadelake SP/X/W/D also CPUID 50657. It didn't different.
