I have never seen Windows Update push A-Volute/Nahimic stuff before, but this auto update basically downgraded my Software Component 1.8.1.0

Edit: @Mokichu, how can I update the A-Volute Nh3 Audio Effects Component back to 1.8.1.0? I tried to a clean install but it didn't work. I tried to run the cmd script, that didn't do it. I tried to update via device manager "update driver" and pointed it to the folder where "A-Volute_APO_3_-_SWC" is but then it said invalid data.
Things are working but I am curious how to update this back? -

This happened on my machine AFTER the INSTALL process. I've had the drivers installed since Windows 10 2004 came out (clean install on OS and Drivers) and it automatically installed the 1.8.0.0 OVER the cleanly installed drivers so I guess it's some kind of forced update.

you can always just disable the drivers updating that windows do (windows 10 pro)
i prefer doing that myself manually :) -

I also went through what Cody did. My installation was working perfectly and Windows downgraded my software component. Then I did a clean install and this time nahimic service and avolute components didn't install. This past few days were a pain because of this. I then had to clean out everything once again and installed the final UAD from ASUS support and then I installed Mokichu's final drivers on top and they worked.
I tried to update the driver with device manager and if said invalid data. I'll try to roll back and report here. -

Also guys, in the driverstore explorer I see a lot of duplicate .inf files, newer and older versions of the same driver. Can you safely delete the older dated duplicates?

Alright, I tried to roll back the 1.8.0.0... Result;

Remember though I had to install Realtek UAD Audio Driver (6.0.1.8666) from ASUS support, because when I did a clean install last time, it refused to install Nahimic service and A-Volute components via the cmd script therefore I couldn't open the Sonic software. That is why it rolled back to 1.3.0.0. Once the ASUS software was installed, I was able to overwrite its components via the 6.0.8960.1 cmd script.
So since rolling back didn't work for me, I tried to point Device Manager to do a manual update, the result was not good;

After this I tried DriverStore Explorer to install it the 1.8.1.0 for me and that didn't work either.

So at the moment I am stuck with 1.8.0.0 and everything works, but not sure how the next update is going to be.
