//solved: fix: retry entire process XD. <3 to MoKiChU
Hi,
x470-F here, thank you for the drivers. Awesome. but..
Sonic Radar does not want to work, it opens, but it cannot detect audio (no error messages just.. nothing happening when testing).
This was after following the clean/install procedure, installing UAD - ASUS ROG SS3 MB
Drivers : 6.0.9091.1, and installing the Realtek Audio Control/Console, Sonic Studio III, and Sonic Radar III via the MS Store.
Anyone got a lead to fix this?
Thank you. -

Thank you SO MUCH! for all your help. I was facing the infamous Sonic Studio 3 getting stuck and not loading. I followed your uninstall/clean/reinstall guide and reinstalled, and now everything works just great!
BTW, I have an ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming and I used your DTS Sound Unbound version.
Thanx again for all your help. Keep up the amazing work! -

I noticed after performing a clean uninstall and install of these audio drivers packaged with DTSX Ultra/DTS SU Extension Driver - 1.1.69 that I no longer get the following two Software Components in Device Manager:
DTS APO4x Service Component
DTS Audio Effects Component
I notice that the ASUS1043ROG directory only has one file in the 1.1.69 version, whereas in previous version, the directory had multiple files.
Digging into the dtsapo4ultraAsusextensionpkg.inf file for comparison, I noticed the following entries in previous versions:
[ASUS1043ROG]
CopyFiles = ASUS1043ROG.CopyList
AddReg = PresetAddReg
[ASUS1043ROG.Components]
AddComponent = DTSAPO,,DTSAPO_Install
AddComponent = DTSService,,DTSService_Install
Whereas the latest version only had this:
[ASUS1043ROG]
CopyFiles = ASUS1043ROG.CopyList
Was this intentional? -

I find this level of detail about how the drivers work fascinating. I don't have a DTS mb so it doesn't apply to me, but for those who do, does this change mean they should do a full clean driver uninstall prior to this update, or does the driver installation for new organization handle it? I presume you would see absent entries in Device Mgr if you turned on Show Hidden Entries, and could then delete them all?

Hi,
thank you for keeping the drivers up to date.
But the new drivers don't work for me. (SS3-DTS 9091.1)
I did a clean install as suggested. (even used the SS3 Clean Up tool)
But the nahimic service keeps crashing (windows event log) and I get no audio at all.
SS3-DTS 9079.1 works fine.
//edit
Maybe I should add…
Upgrading from 9079.1 to 9091.1 works too. -

I like running a tight, clean ship so I frequently clean out DriverStore and frequently go inot Device Mgr and delete hidden device not present that I know I don't need so I would be first to clean again scrupulously. I don't have a DTS mb like I said before so doesn't apply. However, everything must be working fine your "customers" upgrading their DTS mb's here, otherwise, you know they would be 100's of people complaining that these drivers they think you yourself wrote the code for (lol) aren't working anymore.

I have the ROG Crosshair VI Extreme motherboard. I am resetting my PC soon with an upgrade to CPU and cooler and NVME. I would like to get the latest audio driver for my system. The one listed on the motherboard support page is Version 6.0.1.8746 from 2019/12/03. So over a year old. Is there a newer one available?
I have been using Google to investigate Realtek audio drivers and it's very confusing. I went to the Realtek website but it's a very bad website and I don't understand it. Realtek does a really bad job at providing support for their audio components it seems to me.
https://rog.asus.com/us/motherboards...desk_download/
I would like to get the latest drivers for all my motherboard components. But I don't know where to look. Many of the drivers listed on the motherboard support page are old.
I know to go to the AMD website for Chipset and GPU drivers. But I don't know where to go to get the rest of the drivers. -
