    Thread updated.

I tried again with these update drivers and the issue is still there. I also disabled hibernation and enabled MSI. Considering at least 4 of my friends have the exact same issue on very different hardware, I'd say it's not something related to my configuration. I'm going to use these drivers for a bit anyway.

Considering the Asus driver mentions "Support SS3VAC+ DTSS Models"

well, that's right, with DTS Custom, there is an equalizer for headphones, and for the 5.1 system (speakers)this, as I understand it, does not work?.that is, there is an equalizer only for sound through headphones and it is not provided for 5.1?or am I misunderstanding something?

Thank you for all the work you do.
I'm migrating to new motherboard (as you know) and I'm leaving this thread as I'll start following you in another thread of yours.
I'd like to say farewell to all the guys here with with I've been sharing this thread for some years, and hope you guys a good journey.
This particular driver here is the reason why I started to follow you for all my motherboard drivers, as at the beginning I was only using your audio packages.
After all this time, I have realized that all your work and efforts are worth for give you complete trust and respect.
Thank you for having helped me use your drivers (with your supervision) also on other motherboard's brands and non ASUS laptops.
You are the main reason why I have choose ASUS as the brand for my new motherboard, even if other brands were proposing same quality hardware (with maybe also some extra feature) at cheaper prices.
I'll check for these drivers here for my brother once in a while as I decided to keep my old motherboard in the family mostly for the great support that I am used to have with you.
    Thank you.
I hope you will always continue to do what you do as you are the best.
    Ciao!

Sonic Studio 3 - not working
Sonic Studio 3 - not working

I've been having some trouble with sonic Studio 3 not opening and giving the error message "The current system is not supported, or the audio driver has not been properly installed TIMEOUT". I've have realtek audio driver 6.0.9231.1 that I downloaded from Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS MB). My current motherboard is Asus Strix z490-A Gaming. My OS Version is 21H1 OS build 19043.1202.

Can anyone assist me on how to go about fixing Sonic Studio 3? I'm not sure why this hasn't been working for the past month or so but any help will be appreciated.

    Hi!
Is this important everytime we even update the drivers?
Is it important even for other of your packages of these drivers?

I mean... As you also mention that all related software to the driver will update by it self, maybe if we use SS3 right away after the automatic Windows restart your driver's package invokes, we might end in the situation when SS3 has been auto updated and we haven't restarted Windows again just after its auto update.
Or is all this unnecessary as it is just an software update?

    Thank you

    Realtek Z390 E trouble
Not sure what happened a few months ago my Realtek wasn’t very high definition like. Â*The audio just isn’t crisp for gaming. I’ve tried everything installing old drivers. I stumbled by this thread looks helpful but also confusing idk to what process to use and even what install.cmd is or driver explorer. Idk why uninstalling Realtek going to z390e audio driver Realtek just won’t workÂ*

Sorry for the stupid question, how do I know what kind of motherboard mine (Rog Strix Z490-A Gaming) is in this sense? I am having a problem with recording Zoom (or Teams) lectures (the sound appears with some sort of boom echo that is not present on my other device - cheap HP laptop - and appears only in recordings, not in live stream) and tried to uninstall and reinstall all audio drivers, but the official Asus package does not seem to be installing (Asus setup does not work on my machine and I don't know why), so now I have lost all sound. Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

Those who have been following me for a long time know that I have always tried to offer the most refined drivers and the most integrated in the system (Drivers Only) when the number of .inf to install manually is not excessive. The .cmds used here for the install/update of Realtek Audio Drivers is a continuation of this Drivers Only logic (the .cmds use Microsoft PNPUtil (which is included natively in every Windows system files) and contain only a check of the admin right then an automation of the equivalent of a right click then Install on each necessary .inf, in the necessary order, according to the case then an auto restart).

    So :

    - If you want uninstall your Realtek Audio Drivers : Follow your CLEANUP process.
    - If you want make a clean install or install your Realtek Audio Drivers for the first time : Follow your CLEANUP process then follow your INSTALL process.
    - If you want update your Realtek Audio Drivers (after a clean install or first time install from here) : Follow your UPDATE process then once it's done, you can use Driver Store Explorer to remove the old drivers (Click on the Select Old Drivers button > Check the box Force Deletion then click on the Delete Driver button > Restart your PC).

Note : I recommend decompress the .zip file that I offer with 7-Zip : Right click on the .zip file > 7-Zip > Extract Here.

thank you for the clarification! not sure why i was getting wierd numerics through my phone typing i apologize. i will get this downloaded when i get home.
-do i have to have to use 7zip?
-for the future just to clarify what you said, when you post an update i will update it then go back with driver store explorer to delete old driver (the one im dowloading today 6.0.9231.1 WHQL [31/08/2021]) or do the cleanup process first?

    - For each downloaded .zip : ZoneID unblock the .zip (Right click on the .zip file > Properties > Check the box Unblock > OK).

    or

    - Disable the ZoneID blocking completely (you will no longer have to unblock each downloaded .zip, whatever the decompression tool you use) :

    - Right-click Windows Start button then click Launch then type gpedit.msc > OK
    - User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Attachment Manager
    - Do not preserve zone information in file attachment : Enabled > OK

Correct. You will have to follow directly the UPDATE process then, optionally, delete old drivers via Driver Store Explorer.

No, the CLEANUP process is only necessary during the first install (in order to start on a healthy basis), or if you have an issue.

Got it thank you very much! I just installed everything.

Sonic suite companion popped up to download sonic studio. I downloaded sonic studio. Now, do I need the sonic suite companion? my options are run companion at startup or uninstall companion. The only thing clickable is uninstall companion or the run companion at startup checkmark then thats it just minimizes in task bar if i exit out of it and when i reopen the same thing. Sonic Studio also will close out on me.

-Is there a microsoft bus controller I need for audio? im not seeing I have one

-Also is it normal not to see realtek audio driver in the add/remove programs?

I apologize for all the questions but defiently like my title says im a new ROGer lol
I cant wait to test some audio and most importantly hear footsteps in games again!

I have a weird bug: when plugging my headphone in the front panel (didn't try back panel and also have the question, is there a difference between front and back?) they are not recognized unless I enable and disable the "Disable front panel jack detection" switch on Realtek Audio Control. Else the PC just acts like nothing was plugged.

My motherboard is a Crosshair VI Hero and I downloaded the UAD - ASUS ROG SS3 MB 6.0.9231.1 and done everything as stated to cleanup and install. Did I get it right? Should I stick to the MoBo support page driver and downgrade the driver or it's a bug indeed?

UAD 6.0.9231.1 drivers on a X470-PRO with Quadraphonic speakers (4.0) doesn't output 4.0 audio with Diablo II Resurrected. Only does 2.0/Stereo.

Uninstalling the Realtek drivers and going back to the default Microsoft ones works fine (for 4.0, I have to select 5.1 audio settings, disable extra speakers, and make sure Channel Phantoming is enabled).

Install 6.0.9231.1 UAD Driver ASUS TUF/PRIME DTSX Ultra on Asus Prime X299 Edition 30
    Hi Mokichu,

Firstly I would like to convey my thanks for all of your efforts in maintaining this invaluable community Realtek Audio resource.

I have used the drivers posted here for some time now and the install advice has always been more than adequate. In June I experienced an unrelated failure of my Asus Prime X299 Edition 30 (upon which these drivers were previously installed without issue) necessitating RMA to Asus. To cut a long story short (and over 8 weeks!) the failure was ultimately confirmed and the retailer informed me that Asus could not replace the Motherboard instead providing a full refund. Owing to the unique nature of this board and components already purchased to take full advantage I was left to source a new Edition 30 in replacement.

Eventually, I was able to source one overseas and though considerably more expensive I finally have my replacement! Windows 10 Pro X64 21H1 was clean installed in the last few days and the Drivers updated to their latest releases including the Realtek Audio Drivers listed here. As my Motherboard uses the Realtek® S1220A 8-Channel High Definition Audio CODEC which features DTS X Ultra I selected your V6.0.9231.1 UAD Driver (31/08/2021) for ASUS TUF/PRIME DTSX Ultra Motherboards.

As usual, I believe I have followed your step by step guides:

    CLEANUP:

    1) Uninstall Drivers, and Apps (Start > Settings > Apps) - [NB. No Apps were Present] then restart your PC
    2) Launch Driver Store Explorer > Checking the boxes of all versions of drivers which .inf starts with a-volute | avolute | dts | hdx [NB. Non Present] only realtek
    3) Check the box "Force Deletion" then click on the "Delete Driver" button then restart your PC

    Upon restart followed by:

    INSTALL:

    1) Launch "Install.cmd" by right-click Run as admin > [NB. Automatically restarted]
    2) Automatic installation of Realtek Audio Control/Console after rebooting, [NB. Installs but reports "Cannot connect to RPC service"]
    3) Automatic installation of DTS:X Ultra [NB. Does not install & unable to install manually reports error 0x803FB005 when attempting manual download]

The Audio Drivers - Device Manager (Each of: Line In, Microphone, Realtek Digital Output & Speakers report V10.0.19041.1 {Microsoft - 06.12.19})

All attempts to uninstall Device fail upon reboot and Windows does not offer the "Delete the driver software for this device" checkbox. It does not show up in Driver Store Explorer (the only reported instances of 10.0.19041.1 being Printer Drivers prnms001.inf & prnms009.inf) with only realtekasio.inf (1.0.0.8 - 24.03.21) & hdxasus.inf (6.0.9231.1 - 31.08.21) listed.

Clearly I am missing something this time, what am I doing wrong  ??

Thanks in anticipation of your step by step advice :)

    UPDATE: 30.09.21

    All now resolved....

To assist others, I discovered that I had overlooked the Driver (Realtek High Definition Audio Driver) offered in the Armoury Crate Tools > Drivers menu  which installs 'Realtek High Definition Audio Driver' which then becomes visible in Control Panel > Programs & Features and also in Device Manager > Sound, Video & Game Controllers as 'Realtek(R) Audio' after which the magic starts!!

I was then able to follow Mokichu's instructions and all installs flawlessly including the Realtek Audio Console App and DTX Ultra App and now all is perfect and the Audio Console confirms that the 6.0.9231.1 is installed. Finally I was at last able to configure my Logitech Z907 audio settings once more so normal service is resumed :)

Hope this helps someone in due course, otherwise apologies to all for the false alarm and thank you to all those who looked!

Once it's done, follow these 2 TIPS (also visible at the bottom of the first post) :

    1) Disable hibernation :

    - Right-click Windows Start button then click Search.
    - Search for cmd. In the search results list, right-click Command Prompt and then click Run as administrator.
