I want to install your ASUS driver but only the Realtek driver and RealtekHSA component to support download of the Realtek Audio Console, none of the other Nahimic/A-Volute/Sonic Studio components. How to do that ?

If you are not satisfied with what I offer, I suggest you use the drivers from your product support page instead use what I offer.

I try not to the clog up threads, but if I am going to post, I start by thanking you Mokichu. Thank you!

I think you should add this disclaimer at the top of all of your driver threads:

These drivers are NOT SUPPORTED on your motherboard. On your motherboard page at Asus website, you will find drives that have been thoroughly vetted by the fine folks at Asus and they work perfectly fine. Use these drivers at your own risk and always create a restore point or a system image before installing. If you don't know how to create a restore point, then you are NOT qualified to use these drivers. Just use the download found on your motherboard page.

I spend a lot of time monitoring 3rd party vendors for these driver updates and then packaging them into a simple installer. These are not "my' drivers and I have no idea if they'll work for you or not.

Furthermore, the Asus moderators of this forum are doing all of us tech-savvy folks a huge favor by allowing me to post my threads here. Unqualified users who complain about issues w/these unsupported drivers will just ruin it for everyone. If you have any issue, just restore your Restore Point. If you didn't create a Restore Point, then you shouldn't be downloading anything I post or even be here at all.

It's interesting how much Realtek keeps fiddling with the control panel w/these recent releases. The amplification dropdown disappeared a few releases ago and with this new release, they've moved the equalizer and some other settings from Sonic Studio into the control panel. Works fine as always, but make up your mind Realtek!!

    Hi MoKiChU,

First of all thanks for all your hard work! I wanted to confirm I installed the correct drivers: I have an Asus TUF 505DT which came with DTS Headphone X V.1 per-installed so I went with the TUF headphone X v.1 motherboard package last week. I have the 6.0.8984.1 version installed right now.

My main problem is that, when I still had my original Realtek driver, the loudness equalization toggle disappeared some time ago from the Realtek Audio Console for no apparent reason .Oddly enough when I would reinstall the Realtek driver the toggle would be there but disappear again on a restart. Your newer driver packages were my final hope but, unfortunately, the LE toggle is still missing even though everything installed fine. I think DTS Headphone X is the ultimate culprit but I don't get why it worked just fine for 6 months. The DTS Audio app has some extra options when I don't have my headphones plugged in but when they are the options are very limited (primarily to headphone types) and the LE toggle is still missing from the Realtek Audio Console. If you or anyone else have any ideas I would really appreciate it.I'll check out your current updated drivers and do a clean install on them with the full cleanup process and hope for the best.

    Thanks again!

Are you referring to the Amplification setting in Realtek CP? The drop down with Performance, Balanced, and Extreme? That option disappeared a couple releases ago. Realtek took it out of CP for some reason. When you update to these latest drivers, you get the latest CP and Sonic Studio apps. But these apps are downloaded from Windows Store shortly after you reboot, so you may briefly see old CP and then the new one once Windows installs the latest from the Store. So it's Realtek changing or moving these options in the latest CP download, not the drivers themselves.

    Hi,

Nope it had equalizer bars along with the Loudness Equalization toggle under playback devices. I've attached an image of how it used to look (not mine but still the same). Now the bars and the toggles are gone and it just says DTS Sound Effects. I can only get LE again if I install the generic MS drivers and use the advanced options in sound settings. They're not there when using the Realtek drivers. The issue occured before discovering MoKiChU's drivers. In fact that's how I found this forum and his drivers since I was looking for solutions. People in other forums told me it happened to them too for no reason (one guy even has 2 laptops with the same build and 1 has it the other 1 doesn't). It doesn't look like there's a solution but I keep asking just in case someone found one. I'll try out MoKiChU's newest. I think his drivers are still my best bet.

    Thanks again!

I noticed the same, except with mine i run SS3. It looks like Realteck updated the console as stated earlier. I am Running the Mokichu repack and it works perfectly as usual.

    Hi MoKiChU,

I can't even say thank you enough! First off, for some reason it never occurred to me to look at the notebook thread because the TUF505DT was listed as a gaming laptop everywhere and I didn't even consider it a notebook. I'll follow that thread from now on. More importantly, however, your drivers worked amazingly! After a month of searching and being told there's no solution to the missing Realtek Audio Console options I was correct in thinking your drivers will help. DTS works fine (there was a quick DTS extension update from Windows' Update) AND I have all the Realtek options back. Clearly, something broke in the original drivers and yours fixed it. I did a few restarts to confirm since the Realtek Audio Console options would usually disappear on a restart.

Thanks again for fixing one of my biggest headaches in the past month!

Hello Mokichu and First of ALL THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS :-)

I have a ROG Maximus XI Hero Z390" Onboard-Sound and I can be wrong but the latest package I've downloaded a month or so ago was much bigger ~160 MB and now it's much smaller. It seems you split the packages and now I'm a bit confused about which one should I get and Install although I'm almost sure it's the first one " Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3 MB) : Drivers : 6.0.8996.1 WHQL [28/07/2020]" and then follow the old instructions by removing old drivers using Driver Explorer, etc. etc. and then after Driver installation and restart proceed with the installation of SS3 and SR3 (Optional) correct?

Please confirm before I do something wrong :-)

Hi MoKiChU, I was using the old driver with the same problem, I updated and continues the SS3 problem, when I open it for the first time it works, but when I open windows media player it closes by itself and every time I try to open SS3 it informs me of this error, realtek works perfectly but the SS3 doesn't work after listening to music, any suggestions?

I'm doing all the cleaning work properly always making sure that the a-volute was deleted from the system with the Driver Store, could it be a problem with the windows version?

I still use the old WMP in Windows 10 and have never had any issue w/any of these newer Realtek drivers packaged up by MokiChu. If you have extra time, try following scrupulously the uninstall/cleanup process then installing the drivers for your mb from Asus web site. Would be interesting to see if no problem w/those old drivers.

But then you'll have to follow scrupulously the cleanup process again, in order to install the latest drivers here. However, at this point you're an expert in the uninstall/cleanup process, lol.

I have no problems with uninstallation and cleaning, I always used MoKiChU drivers and I never had any problems, but after upgrading to 2004 and even with 1909 and recent drivers I started having these problems, I suspect the reason for the crash is the outdated SS3 or incompatible with WMP, MPCHC and Microsoft Edge Chromium, for some reason when the browser is open when I open SS3 only the browser appears in the list of applications and crashes, today at this moment I just did it for 3x in 4x the application shows me the same error that appears in the image I posted. I will post further, I will stop using Microsoft Edge Chromium for a few days to check this possibility.

Hi MoKiChU! After suspecting and investigating the SS3 bug on my machine, I came to the conclusion that there was an incompatibility between EDGE Chromium and SS3, so I waited and found that it really is incompatible after two SS3 updates on my PC, so I share with you what I discovered, unfortunately I am not an expert in solving these types of incompatibilities.

In the following image it says: This application cannot be directed to another device. Due to its technical specifications.

    WMP and MPCHC keeps crashing.
