Ok, so I went on our other computer with a Asus Prime z390a motherboard. I see that it has Realtek High Definition Audio driver installed. Only the Usb realtek driver is installed on mine.

Also, the realtek audio console immediately opened on the other pc with the correct driver installed. I have removed everything 3-4 times and reinstalled the asus site drivers 2284 and 2286. I am at a complete loss right now. The software sonic radar and studio are installing, and the realtek console, but obviously the HIGH DEF AUDIO DRIVER is not installing?

    So the drivers have installed!!

Your drivers are a USB codec. Those are the High Def drivers. Your board does not use ALC chip like your Z390A. It uses USB sound device.

I dont have anything in my device manager showing realtek at all. I have a high def device but doesn't say realtek. The high USB audio is installed but where is my option to use the front panel HD audio 3.5mm or the inputs on the rear of the motherboard. Something is still not right.

I do see the realtek hd audio driver installed in add remove programs list.

Now, search for Realtek on the left and click on it. Then in the main window on the right, choose "Realtek Hight definition audio device". Then click "Next" and answer yes or OK to the warnings. Does it work?

If it doesn't work then disconnect all other audio devices (Not the Nvidia devices), Uninstall all other audio software from Corsair and all other software and drivers related to audio that you have plug in. Unplug all audio related devices. Use Device driver explorer and delete all Realtek. Reboot and install the Realtek drivers first and see if it works. Don't plug-in or install anything else but Realtek related drivers and software. If that doesn't work then RMA your motherboard.

No tried that yesterday. Forced the driver onto that device which is intel. It crashed windows. Had to finally restore just to get back into windows. A new board is on the way.

Like I said, RMA your motherboard. It looks like you tried everything under the sun. So, all you can do is RMA your motherboard.

Anyway, I hope you enabled all audio in the BIOS. I would not be happy with myself if I forgot to enable audio in the BIOS....lol

I have looked numerous times in this bios, but I have only found the usb audio to enable or disable. If you know where the onboard audio is or anyone else does, by all means let me know. I have been in there three times and looked everywhere.
