    Follow this process :

    - Install the DTS SWC drivers offered from Windows Update
    - Go in your Device Manager > View > Check Show hidden devices
    - Uninstall DTS APO4x & DTS APO4x Service hidded devices (check the box to delete the linked drivers)
    - Restart your PC

    Hi,

    thank you.
Somehow there were some left over DTS devices. (hidden as you suggested)
I used the tool DeviceCleanUp to get rid of them.

TLDR; Removing only the infs with DriverStoreExplorer is not enough.

    Hi,

You use the correct drivers package.

All the devices listed in Audio inputs and outputs category in your Device Manager are system devices, using system drivers which are not meant to be updated (whose version corresponds to the version of the system, Windows 11 21H2/CO/22000.x in your case).

The correct device to check in your Device Manager is Realtek(R) Audio device in Sound, video and game controllers category.

Hello Mokichu! I've been using your drivers for a long time but for the past few versions I have a problem. My current mb is B550-E (SS3-DTS) and even when doing full cleanup the installer gets stuck while trying to install dtsapo4ultraAsusextensionpkg.inf. Can you tell me if there's fix for that? It doesn't matter if its Gen 1 or Gen 2, it always gets stuck.

Has anyone else lost their DTS licence after updating to the new drivers (Gen 2 in my case)? DTS Sound Unbound wants me to buy a new licence.

    Hi,

You have an ASUS PRIME Realtek motherboard, so :

You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME RTK MB) from the first post of this thread.

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.
