    Thanks for that, it works :)

    update: no equalizer for my headphones with Realtek Audio Control app but i fixed that by installing Sonic Studio 3 app.

    Great! All software Working
    - Realtek Audio Control/Console after rebooting, installed manually from Windows Store
    - Install Sonic Studio III : From your latest Link
    - Install Sonic Radar III (Optional) : From your latest Link

    You're a Master.

    Now i only need to fix a problem with my ASUS BT400 BT Module, it seems my Sony MDR-1000X can't play sound form the PC, i guess it has not enough services Activated...

    Any suggestion is welcomed

    Ah! Ok, great! It would be great to see also these updates as well on the main thread (if you'd like to continue providing so).

    And for installation, just run as admin without any cleaning and that's it?

    Like MokiChu says, you need to follow the Clean Up instructions in his first post, which is more than just uninstalling stuff from Add/Remove Programs. Scrupulously means go through those Clean Up step one by one, in order, and slowly and carefully. This will break the link b/t your MB and the specific Asus Realtek drivers provided initially and you can then use the public Realtek drives MokiChu provides here.

    Hi,

    x470-F here, thank you for the drivers. Awesome. but..

    Sonic Radar does not want to work, it opens, but it cannot detect audio (no error messages just.. nothing happening when testing).

    This was after following the clean/install procedure, installing UAD - ASUS ROG SS3 MB
    Drivers : 6.0.9091.1, and installing the Realtek Audio Control/Console, Sonic Studio III, and Sonic Radar III via the MS Store.

    Anyone got a lead to fix this?

    Thank you.

    Thread, post & drivers packages updated.

    I noticed after performing a clean uninstall and install of these audio drivers packaged with DTSX Ultra/DTS SU Extension Driver - 1.1.69 that I no longer get the following two Software Components in Device Manager:

    DTS APO4x Service Component
    DTS Audio Effects Component

    I notice that the ASUS1043ROG directory only has one file in the 1.1.69 version, whereas in previous version, the directory had multiple files.
    Digging into the dtsapo4ultraAsusextensionpkg.inf file for comparison, I noticed the following entries in previous versions:

    [ASUS1043ROG]
    CopyFiles = ASUS1043ROG.CopyList
    AddReg = PresetAddReg

    [ASUS1043ROG.Components]
    AddComponent = DTSAPO,,DTSAPO_Install
    AddComponent = DTSService,,DTSService_Install

    Whereas the latest version only had this:

    [ASUS1043ROG]
    CopyFiles = ASUS1043ROG.CopyList

    Was this intentional?

    I find this level of detail about how the drivers work fascinating. I don't have a DTS mb so it doesn't apply to me, but for those who do, does this change mean they should do a full clean driver uninstall prior to this update, or does the driver installation for new organization handle it? I presume you would see absent entries in Device Mgr if you turned on Show Hidden Entries, and could then delete them all?

    Hi,
    thank you for keeping the drivers up to date.

    But the new drivers don't work for me. (SS3-DTS 9091.1)
    I did a clean install as suggested. (even used the SS3 Clean Up tool)
    But the nahimic service keeps crashing (windows event log) and I get no audio at all.
    SS3-DTS 9079.1 works fine.

    //edit
    Maybe I should add…
    Upgrading from 9079.1 to 9091.1 works too.

    Even if using the UPDATE process does not interfere with the operation of the drivers (if you are used to cleaning your old drivers via Driver Store Explorer, the APO and Service SWC device should be hidden in your Device Manager, if you are not used to cleaning your old drivers via Driver Store Explorer, APOs and Service SWC device should be visible but not used), I recommend doing a CLEANUP in order to reset on a healthy basis. So :

    @ ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboards users : Due to a major change in the operation of the DTS Sound Unbound Third Party Drivers, re-download your drivers package & follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

    I like running a tight, clean ship so I frequently clean out DriverStore and frequently go inot Device Mgr and delete hidden device not present that I know I don't need so I would be first to clean again scrupulously. I don't have a DTS mb like I said before so doesn't apply. However, everything must be working fine your "customers" upgrading their DTS mb's here, otherwise, you know they would be 100's of people complaining that these drivers they think you yourself wrote the code for (lol) aren't working anymore.

    I have the ROG Crosshair VI Extreme motherboard. I am resetting my PC soon with an upgrade to CPU and cooler and NVME. I would like to get the latest audio driver for my system. The one listed on the motherboard support page is Version 6.0.1.8746 from 2019/12/03. So over a year old. Is there a newer one available?

    I have been using Google to investigate Realtek audio drivers and it's very confusing. I went to the Realtek website but it's a very bad website and I don't understand it. Realtek does a really bad job at providing support for their audio components it seems to me.

    https://rog.asus.com/us/motherboards...desk_download/

    I would like to get the latest drivers for all my motherboard components. But I don't know where to look. Many of the drivers listed on the motherboard support page are old.

    I know to go to the AMD website for Chipset and GPU drivers. But I don't know where to go to get the rest of the drivers.

    There is no sys tray thing anymore. It's an app in your Start Menu called Realtek Control Panel.

    Thank you
    Mokichu thank you for you precious work regarding the Realtek driver installation of which I followed to the letter but unfortunately it only worked for a couple of days then went back to same problem, my board is the Asus ROG Strix B460-F gaming and problem is that whilst watching either a movie or youtube and even watching live news cahnnel the sound becomes very soft and when I pull up the Realtek audio control and the Sonic studio I get the message that the wrong driver installed. I then repeat everything as per the first post and it will works to a fashion but then repeats the problem so I am thing of going down the route of a sound card which hopefully will solve audio problem, please keep up the good work and ignore ignorant people who do not appreciate your work.

    Hello, i have ROG Strix Z490-H Gaming mb.
    As far as I understand i need to use (which I have always used) the "UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS MB"
    But since v6.0.9091.1 drivers package Sonic Studio 3 is not working. It opens and letting me change options, but effects does not apply to sound output.I.e. Sonic Studio 3 doing nothing.
    The new (6.0.9098.1) drivers not fixing it as well.

    I followed the instructions exactly as it says i.e.
    Unistall SS3, DTS and Realtek Audio Console
    Ran as admin "A-Volute_SS3_Cleanup.exe"
    Used Driver Store Explorer to completely remove any a-volute, avolute,dts, hdx, realtek files (force deletion cheked). Restart.
    Then i ran "Install.cmd" as admin, after automatic restart, i manually installed Realtek Audio Console and Sonic Studo 3 from MS Store.

    Nothing helps :-( Maybe im missing something? Or im installing wrong drivers package?
    Is someone has encountered such a problem?

    Thank you in advance.

    Can you check the event log for a nahamic crash log entry, please?

    And why does updating from 9079.1 work but a clean install does not?
