    Thank You!
first of all, i would like to thank you very much for what you r doing for us, it's really awesome work, you saved my day after spending days searching for a proper driver to make my sonic studio working again on my x570-e board! really appreciate your effort!

second, I'm not an audiophile and i don't even know if i'm asking in the right place or not but feel free to guide me or skip the question.
i use a headphone bose qc35 and i have DTS sound unbound installed and active, should i enable sonic studio 3 upmix /surround also with spatial sound DTS Headphone X or do i have to choose between them, as there's no to very little info on the web regarding those settings

if any one can tell me more info regarding them, i would be very grateful.

    thank you again,

    Have A Nice Day!

Thank you very much! You are the best...nice to be able to get just the driver updated. Works great for my B550m TUF and i even got the DTS and Audio Manager to work! Simple and elegant...the way it should be.

    Realtek Audio HP Reverb G2
@MoKiChU ... First off, thank you very much for your stellar work here, I found this thread at the back end of last year after a new build with the Crosshair Hero VIII (WiFi), and I am absolutely certain I would have taken the PC outback and smashed it with a hammer if it wasn't for the drivers here and this thread! I cannot actually express my thanks enough to you my good sir!

I kinda don't want to ask this question, because if the threads I've read over the last week are anything to go by, then the HP Reverb is such a broken piece of kit, that there is probably very little that anyone can do to help, but I figured that I sort of have an obligation to post something about my recent failed experience, because it seems to be relevant to the Realtek drivers in some sense, (I think)!

Yes, the HP Reverb G2, which apparently also uses Realtek, is probably a dreaded topic at the moment. I currently have an open ticket with HP for a replacement cable, (in the queue for a piece of eternal string, yes, I know) ... BUT, this is the story and an explanation as to why I've posted this here.

So I get this new headset, go through all the same issues almost everyone else has had, can't get it connected to begin with, experiencing various errors in WMR, then HP send me a USB hub, that works for 2 days, but I can't get any sound through the headset. So I follow the thread trail and go about trying to connect it in different USB ports with no joy. I then figure I'll roll back to the basic Realtek driver to see if that makes a difference,, (after removing SS3 and all the jazz, because I've become fairly efficient at the removal and clean reinstall process, thanks to this thread and SS3 crashing after any new sound device is added). But after that the Reverb HMD just dies altogether. No connection to WMR at all, (hence the ticket for a new cable because now I'm being notified of a USB not recognised error in Windows 10, rather than just the limited connection issues I had before).

This was all at the weekend just gone, then I got to thinking today, are third-party audio drivers compatible with that device anyway? Or would they supersede the anticipated drivers in the same way that I think they do with the innate drivers that Windows installs at installation? It would be helpful to know, because it'll be one of the things I can tick off the list when the new cable (eventually) arrives, and it'll help me decide which audio drivers I should install, and whether getting audio directly from the device is just something that can't be done at the moment (I'm new to this by the way, as you can probably tell by my long rambling way of explaining things).

Apparently there is known USB compatibility issue with x570 MBs and the HP Reverb, (and no, I didn't find that out until spending the cash). But if that's the case, should I just scrap trying to use the sound from the onboard headset and stick with these drivers? Or go the other way and scrap the MB's SS3 / SR3 / DTS and use the official drivers? ... (Or should I do what I actually want to do and take the fecking chunk of annoying expensive materials outside, then have 5 minutes of total carnage before moving to live in a tree house for the rest of forever in deep regret ... that last bit was rhetorical by the way)!

Any thoughts or guidance on this issue from anyone would be very welcome! Thank you. I am also prepared for responses that tell me that I have a fundamental misunderstanding of these devices and their associated software, because I can also be a bit thick, I'm not a developer, or a tech specialist, just someone that likes to shoot virtual things and generally. fumble around with technology that far exceeds my own capabilities! :)

    hi all,

I just installed a new Realtek UWP that landed on my Z370 page.
The installation seems silent though, after saying installing for a few minutes, the window is gone and no restart request or confirmation, hence i rebooted manually after waiting 1-2 minutes.

    i guess thats normal?
i saw that the driver and UWP UI were updated by checking the version.

Hi, I have a Z370-H ROG MB and I've been struggling with the audio drivers for 3 years.
Previously I had a Extreme Z77 ASRock motherboard which I could use discord with speakers and a desktop mic, no one would hear what my speakers were playing, (Acoustic Echo Cancellation was working awesome). But as soon as I upgraded to this new PC and new motherboard it became a nightmare, and I couldn't use speakers + microphone anymore, my mic would pick up everything my speakers were playing.
I used your drivers and now it's working again, I finally can use speakers + microphone on discord again. Thank you so much.

So I'm a little curious, what are those drivers? Did u make them custom? What are the differences from the official Asus drivers?

That's the cool thing about the drivers MoKiChU puts out, they are "official" Realtek drivers. The thing is that Asus about once per year updates the audio drivers on its support site that it gets from Realtek. Even though Realtek is constantly updating the drivers available to Asus, but Realtek doesn't publicly put out drivers. So we're normally at the mercy of Asus to update what's available to us.

So MoKiChU goes out and finds the newest, official, signed, realtek drivers from other mobo manufacturers and his secret sources, and re-packages them up to release for us Asus Realtek users that don't get regular updates from our Mobo mfg directly!

HUGE THANKS TO MoKiChU as always for packaging these up!

A few days ago, my DTS Sound Unbound app started constantly spamming me with annoying notifications in my Windows tray saying "DTS:X Ultra enabled".

Has anyone else had this? It's very annoying.

Update your DTS Sound Unbound to latest 2021.2.6.0 and this should fix it.

Is it possible that the last windows update screwed up sonic studio ?
This is on a clean windows install:

    My system build is: 19042.985
But in the error log it says: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 10.0.19041.964
    ?

The nahimic service crashes as soon as I start the sonic studio app.
    //edit
As soon as switching to advanced view, the app crashes.

It is also not possible anymore to have the sonic studio sound normalization + DTS Headphone X running at the same time.
DTS Headphone X works, but the sound normalization isn't, which makes the overall volume quite low.

Can you also please add direct store links, like this:

    Good day!

    Apologies for bringing this up.
Could you please suggest which driver package I should use for my mobo?
I've got Z390 Maximus XI Hero.
Been using "- Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3 MB)" one for a while, but want to make sure that this is the intended one.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

i am using the B550-F Gaming and i have big Issues with my onboard Audio. When i using your Drivers , or the Drivers from the Website , the Audio is a bit delayed, especially in Games.

For Example: You take a Shot in Call of Duty , you see your shot and shortly after that comes the sound, it´s very little Delay, but you feel it and this is annoying.

Or when i do the little Sound Test in Realtek Console, it´s delayed too.

I can fix this with the Setting "Disable all Audio Enhancements" than the Delay is completely gone, but than i can´t use SonicStudio, DTS and so on

I´ve reinstalled Windows completely and test all Driver Version that i can find. I use a standard 2.1 Speaker Systen and for Gaming a Stereo Headset.

    Have someone an Idea?

    - Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process
    - Use this SS3 Cleaner tool (Right click on "A-Volute_SS3_Cleanup.exe" > Run as administrator) then restart your PC
    - Follow scrupulously your INSTALL process.

For the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow the UPDATE process.

Also, in order to enhance your DPC latency, follow this process (also visible in TIPS at the bottom of all my audio drivers threads) :

    1) Disable hibernation :

    - Right-click Windows Start button then click Search.
    - Search for cmd. In the search results list, right-click Command Prompt and then click Run as administrator.
    - If/When you are prompted by User Account Control, click Continue.
    - At the command prompt, type powercfg.exe /hibernate off and then press Enter then close the Command Prompt

    2) Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_util_v3.exe" > Run as administrator), then Apply, then close MSI Mode Utility & restart your PC

Note : Once all these steps have been followed to the letter, if you are still not happy with your sound output lag, since this also occurs with drivers from your motherboard support page : Open a ticket at ASUS Support.

Thank you, i will test this today...

One short Question : When you activate the Audio Enhancements, is there a possibility that some Delay is normal? Some Users told me that, when you activate DSPs it could be cause some Delay.

DTS app wasn't only spamming me, it kept disabling my surround and resetting my speaker config. There was no way at all to control this behavior or to stop it except uninstalling the DTS Sound Unbound app. Hopefully its fixed, or we get some way of getting manual control.

    Just to add:
I've opened a case with the DTS app support team. I'll post updates to thread.

OK I've been going out of my mind here. Hopefully i installed right version. (asus rog maximus xii formula.. I installed the dts version)

Strangely, my Windows 10 on ssd works fine with audio including the sonic studio enhancements and equaliser.

But when I installed windows 10 to the m.2 drive.. No MATTER WHAT I do.. As soon I install any of the 2 drivers on the Asus website (its the same that's on the ssd so the driver IS correct) I got "failed to play test tone" and no sound at all.

This driver posted here? WORKS! Been trying for over 20 days uninstalling and reinstalling 3 times a day with no progress.

I just don't get how it worked on the ssd fine but not the new install.

(I'm GUESSING it's because the new install was downloaded from Microsoft so it's the new may 2021 version. The other install is not updated to May 2021 so I'm wondering if the driver is not compatible?

Anyone know any reason or is my guessing correct that Microsoft idiots decided the may 2021 update disables the asus realtek drivers.. Or is it asus are too slow woth the official driver page?

I prob have to reinstall fresh again just to clean it up as I have soo many different crap installed when trying to fix the audio until I found this page /thread.

Here the output, is it because some components dont need to be updated?

Hi guys. @MoKiChU, I've changed sampling rate on my older driver and my audio channels swapped so R is now L and vice versa. I did a clean install of the latest package You provided according to Your instructions and it didn't help. I have still inverted channels and also, my front pannel works only on mono. I have Strix B450-E mobo and Win10 21H1 with latest updates. Any help?

EDIT: I've double checked front audio connector on other phoens and it works fine without inverted channels. Only the mobo jack is affected.

EDIT2: Ok, everything is fine. The driver works well. I've just accidentally swapped RCA chinch connectors at my main speaker so i swapped channels and I even did not notice it for like 2 months XD. Only today I've experimented a bit with settings and found out it was swapped. And, before changing sampling options I had the impression that the channels are correct. But I've connected my sennheiser phones to the mobo jack and they go well so, yeah, human mind and its meanders. Take care and thank You @KoKiChU for the newest drivers You provide!

    DTS:X Ultra Automatically Starts
So the new DTS drivers for my X570-E work fine except that the DTS app auto starts when my PC comes on and even when it resumes from sleep. And every time it changes my audio settings. It just won't stay off. Plus it often spams notifications that it is Enabled. Anyone know of a simple way of fixing this?

    Hello everyone, Hello Mokichu,

I had not updated my drivers for over 6 months and I just updated them with the update method and it worked as such a breeze, no problems at all. I love it.

I do have a question to all however, what is the .cmd line I have to add at the end of the script in order to be able to pause and require a key press for the restart? I want to be able to see if everything updated correctly, it just moves too fast. DriverStoreExplorer works too but not sure if I am missing anything there..

Another question for Mokichu this time, I know you work tirelessly to bring ROG community ton of drivers. Do you have any plans to bring updates for ROG items such as keyboards, mice, screens, and especially ROG Aura items? I have had so many problems with Armoury Crate (which used to be the interface to update all peripherals properly) so I went back to old school ROG Aura software but that one doesn't update components. Just curious, thank you.
