Hi,
Thank you very much I did a full cleanup, downloaded new updated version of the drivers, installed it and now it is all gucci :) Virtual mixer is gone and sound works as intended. The only change I noticed is that now when I use GoXlr mixer connected via usb when I open Realtek Audio Console or HD Manager, they are blank and it says "You are seeing a blank page because there is no audio devices plugged in the system. To activate GUI, please plug an audio device in the system" When I plug in my headphones directly to my pc front audio jack then the Audio Console and HD manager are populated. In the previous versions I could see both consoles populated even when I had everything routed vis GoXLR mixer since I use it as my main audio device. GoXLR is an audio device and it's plugged in the system so I don't understand why I get this message now. Anyway Thx for the updated drivers :) -

I just installed the last update from the ASUS site and the virtual mixer is gone, but I would like to have a decent mixer.. The basic one doesn't seem to do much.
Does anyone know what the AsusUpdateCheck.exe or AsusDownloadLicense.exe is that I am seeing with my Z490 board in the Win 10 Insiders Build? It is in the Windows\System32 folder but it is not on my Z370 board with the public build.. -

Launch "Install_ROG_SS3.cmd" by right-click Run as admin > Automatic restart when install is done
- Automatic installation of Realtek Audio Control after rebooting
After reboot i dont have realtek audio console installed.
if not, install it manually
So, the solution is install the realtek audio console from MS store ? I think that realtek console was include in some folder and i can install manually.
I say this, because a have not the MS store installed.
Regards,
EDIT:
I have reinstall the MS store... but the funniest thing is that you can't download the audio console from the MS store  it does not work ! xDD -

MR. M
I am having issues with this new driver. It installs but I can not get the realtek audio control to open up??? It installs but will not open up at all. I have followed your directions too a "T", but no go?
Can you by any chance give me the previous driver you posted before this new one today.
Thanks in advance.
UPDATE:
I got it to work Mr. M. I spent about 2 hours installing uninstalling and its working now? I think the MS store was the issue! -

I love you dude @MoKiChU
If anyone is googling trying to find solution to their problem I will describe mine.
After windows update late June 2020 my mic stopped working. I have Vmooda boom pro mic. It's mic on cable that you can connect to headphones with detachable cable, so you can combine good headphones (eg Philips fidelion x2) with PC without any more cables. It works on 4pin 3,5jack -all in one, but this is not important. After win update my mic stopped working, headphones and audio were fine. I pulled my hair out trying to find what's wrong, of course it was win installing different drivers. So long story short, I finally came to this driver that actually worked and my mic and audio works fine.
I have rog strix II GL504M and I used SS3 driver. Thank you again sir.
PS: maybe next time you can look at aura core lighting drivers, they are mess too hehehehe :D
Peace -

Guys, sorry if this was asked before, for the default format in the Realtek Audio Control what do you select? I usually select 96000Hz and 24bits because way back when I had a Creative card, this setting was the cleanest sound. Just curious.
Also, Mokichu, this driver update I only did the "update" rather than clean install, and it nicely updated, everything works, except the software component "A-Volute Nh3 Audio Effects Component" is stuck at 1.8.0.0, can't update this one for some reason. Again, everything works so I take it as is. Thank you for your hard work. -

Which install process do I use for the Z490-I?
I am guessing I use the SS3 but I am not sure how to match my mobo audio spec with the install process. -

I have a Maximus IX Hero(Z270) using Windows 10 latest version 2004/19041.329 and after installing the new drive (ROG SS3), I noticed that Nahimicsvc32 process is using quite a lot of cpu and even making my cursor to spinning wheel.
I already tried reinstalling the drive without any success and I am really considering removing the ROG SS3 from my computer.
Any thoughts ? -

I told about the struggle i've had with static on my sound and today i solved it. How? I changed away from the Realtek drivers and installed the Microsoft High Definition Audio Device. After that no more static!! Weird stuff! So the realtek drivers obviously needs some work, atleast on my asus z490-g.
EDIT: And i just changed back to the realtek drivers and now the static is not there anymore. I don't get this. -

Not the best place to post my findings, but because some people asked Mokichu on this thread about it i wanted togive an update on the matter of Forza Horizon 4 Crashing because of the nahimic service.
Looks like Nahimic has fixed the issue with Forza horizon 4 and SS3, noted that there is no profile in the application list for forza in SS3 but the game is not crashing, been running it for 30 minutes so far and no crash.
here is the thread on the matter:

Can someone tell me which is the latest driver/download-link for my "Asus ROG Maximus XI Hero Z390" Onboard-Sound?

Thank you as always.
I am with your AUDIO_Realtek_UAD_ASUS_ROG-PRIME-TUF_MB_v6.0.8960.1.7z at the moment and made a CLEAN INSTALL for installing them as you told me to do so coming from my old drivers, still from you.
I'm with ASUS ROG SS3 motherboards and for future updates you mentioned that I could go directly for the UPDATE process (- Launch "Install_ROG_SS3.cmd" by right-click Run as admin > Automatic restart when install is done)
Is it still the same? Thanks! -

Hi MoKiChU,
First off I'd just like to say thank you for graciously offering your time and support to the community and your awesome installer tool. Asus themselves could learn a thing or two from you.
I have a few questions to ask that I'm hoping you or someone else here could maybe help with.
When using ASIO4ALL in my DAW software I can only access 2 of the inputs at any one time. The rest of the inputs remain in use (beyond logic). I have no other software open at the time when this is happening. Do you have any experience with this?
Also are you aware of any way/tool/registry edits to retask more of the audio jacks with this driver. With my previous motherboard I'm pretty sure I could retask all of the audio jacks as line-in ports but I am not able to with this driver/interface.
I have a few more queries but I'll leave it here for now.
(EDIT: Oh yeah, my mobo is Asus x570 ROG STRIX Gaming-E)
Thanks again! -

What are these drivers for? Are they any different from the ones from the ASUS support/driver website? I have an ASUS ROG Maximus Hero XII Z490 and installed the realtek audio drivers from the website. Do I need to install these as well?

I did a clean install according to instructions, including disconnecting the network. Once again, NH3/SS3 APO SoftwareComponent Driver : 1.8.2.0 WHQL [16/06/2020] (A-VoluteNh3ApoSwc.inf) did not install. After the installation, I went to the folder and tried manually, error message pops up "The data is invalid". Then I went to Microsoft Update Catalog. That catalog has 1.8.1.0 currently available. Downloaded it and tried to install manually, and it installed. I don't understand how. This inf file is not installing via Mokichu's package but it is installing via Microsoft update. Has anyone been dealing with this issue?
Edit: A-VoluteNh3ApoSwc.inf is not installing at all and therefore Sonic Studio doesn't work. Any ASUS OEM driver package isn't installing either. So right now my audio driver package is somehow ruined and I don't know what else I can do short of a clean Windows install at this point. -

Hi MoKiChu, I have a Z490-E. Which set of drivers should I download?
Thank you! -
08-01-2020, 04:18 AMBushmaster78FSQuote:
You've been dealing with this issue for quite a while now, and you are the only one in this case to my knowledge, this issue is on your side, so, please do not ask the question at each update but instead fix your Windows install.
The problem only arose after Windows Update pushed the A-Volute software component. AFAIK, several others complained about the problem at that time, I am only giving you feedback as to the progress of the issue since you are manufacturing these drivers. I understand you do not want this feedback. Honestly, it is disappointing that we are not attempting to get to the bottom of this, but it is fine. I do want the driver development to continue. The only way I know how to fix the Windows install at this point is a clean install.
Could you please tell me, when I install the windows clean, do I only follow the install portion of the instructions? -
08-01-2020, 05:44 AMBushmaster78FS
Well I was talking figuratively, not literally. You do compile these drivers for us ASUS users and we thank you for that. No disagreement there, absolutely everything was fine until Windows update pushed that avolute update and I could't revert back, other than that drivers are perfectly fine. I am only worried how to prevent another clean install if my update/system gets corrupt again. I didn't know who else to ask for help.
Quote:
Correct, you will can directly follow your INSTALL process. For the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.
EDIT: It installed flawlessly and works like a breeze on a clean system. I just have to be make sure the system/windows update process don't get corrupted again! -
