Any progress on this? Is this motherboard broken? Because several people have the same problem with it, and nothing helps?

To make sure compatibility, please use the ram in our qvl list.

I have had the same problem for months! Glad I found this and am not the only one. I have to power off my Seasonic 850w titanium psu and reseat the power plug in order to power on the computer. Seems to trigger every other day or sometimes every day. :(

I can already tell you that it will not help. ASUS has no idea what's wrong with this motherboard - it's "change this", "change that", PSU, ram, etc. etc. - nothing helps if you read about other people struggles - apart from changing the motherboard to something else of course.

I agree with you, as I have seen people having this issue without ram installed - I just happened to have qualifying ram lying around - so now we can rule "bad" ram out :)
