i have Asus rampage iv black dition with PCIe 2.0 x1 and i want to buy the raidr express but he Requires pcie 2.0 x2/
is that going to work or its not going to work
please tell me i want to order now

Hello

If you only have a x1 slot available I would suggest not using the RAIDR. Assuming it works without issue the speed would be half of the advertised specs at best.

Have one in my RIVE black edition and works great - must agree with Praz, I have never gotten the advertised speeds, but still like it.

Hey guys,
any ideas where to put RAIDR on Rampage IV Black Edition when using SLI to keep both GPUS at x16 and not to lose the performance of RAIDR. For now I have GPU 1 is slot one (PCI-E x16_1), than RAIDR in slot 2 (PCI-E x 8_3)and then GPU 2 in slot three (PCI-E x 16_3). What do you think?

Why has ASUS abandoned the RAIDR Express "series"? It was really cool and would have definitely been a strong contender in the market.
