Version 4.29 working but they still NEED to polish it .. sometimes have to change from 5.1 channel to 7.1 then back to 5.1 channel for my 5.1 speakers to work.. is DTS working in this lates version? when ever I choose on my ROG Xonar PHoebus it only shows me the speaker setting. HOPE Asus will NOT stop on Version 4.29

Sound Cards are important and many people underestimate dedicate sound card.
I found very cheap SBZxR before 2 days for some 120 euro and upgrade from SBZ...
I listen other people and didn't expect some sound upgrade but I was surprised, every sound is different and improved even on youtube is visible improvement.
Than I found some text with recommendations for op-amp replacements...
But comparing how much cost one TITAN X Pascal for same money you could buy Dali Zensor 3 with Dali Zensor Vocal and Subwoofer - 5.1 System best in class from 700-1200/1300 pounds + Denon or Yamaha AV/Reciver.
That will last 15 years at least, from other side TITAN X is outdated and for 3 years cost 250$ and still people hurry more to pay much higher price for graphic cards and use Logitech speakers. -

My opinion. If you really want audiophile quality sound and don't want to add a card to your PC just use an external DAC. No drivers needed. Connect it to the optical digital out or USB. I just recently ditched the on board and went to an external DAC and the difference is HUGE! Clean, crisp, clear with desperation and depth. The sky is the limit and you can spend a lot of money on a high end DAC but I've found one that is comparable in price to a high end sound card, has a built in headphone amp and comes in a small package. Audioengine D1. It's not analog surround but none of the high end cards are either. Paired this up with audioengine A5+ speakers and decided to add the S8 sub with it to get full spectrum. *Short of dumping several thousand on an entire sound system with amp and unpowered speakers this is an awesome set up that takes up little space and will wake up the neighbors.*

The worse problems I had is crazy Windows 10 Update System.
He ask nothing and Install what he want, don't care for orders ...
if something is similar show up he install and not recognize sometimes difference between similar hardware and install you wrong drivers. -
