m.2 is a pcie conector type so you have a sta ssd or a pcei or a m.2
but you problem could also be that your spu overclock is bad try resetting the bios and if you have 2 monitors try looking at the cpu usage in the taks man
i have seen mine dowing weerd stuff aswel lik it using 1 thread at 100% and the other just running 6%
but it could also be the storge aldo if you have a sdd it seems unlikly -

I just tried v3.00.13 downloaded from the Maximus VIII Impact Motherboard page, and as per the beta I still cannot get anything other than a blank screen from AiSuite 3.
I've tried using AiCleaner in safe mode but all it does is pop up really quickly so I don't even know if it is working properly.
I don't have any sort of exotic setup, i can't really understand why the software isn't just working?

@ Asus
Thanks for the update, glad to have the program up & running again. I only use it for fan curves (I much prefer it over the bios setup as it also allow me to set my AIO pump speed).
However, I now have a small problem.
Program used to work fine up until a couple of days ago.
I just switched 3 fans on my rig and as it should the fan tuning wizard asked me to re-configure.
Fan curvs were set up just fine but the problem is that now, after every reboot it ask me to re-configure the fans, plus it does not keep my saved profile.
Can someone assist? Thanks!
edit: forgot to add that my mobo is the Crosshair VI Hero. -

does not work properly on the motherboard Maximus VII Formula, therefore, it does not identify the coolers and does not overclock the processor.
