I could totally see this being a problem. Should probably default to off honestly. My CPU rates bronze and if I try to OC it much past PBO Fmax levels it'll fail almost immediately.

Interesting that you say that. Most people that have installed it have seen a ~5-8% bump in performance with the beta bios. Stability is fine on my end but there are still people struggling with bios...

Beta BIOS for Hero/Forumla is currently @ 1.0.8.2 I believe.

It's definitely new enough that normal tools are having a hard time identifying what AGESA version it is but I can say that after some light benchmarking that on DOCP standard settings, the new BIOS...

Oh I LOVE that it actually boots. If the thermals were under control I'd be all good. I idle at ~55-60C and under medium load it'll kick up to 85-90. Full load it'll shut down due to overheat.

AGESA 1.0.0.3 according to HWInfo. Also of interesting note... My CPU is identified as Eng Sample and not Production... Snapshot with most everything in BIOS running at "default" and PCI-E...

correct. System boots fine with my 1800x installed but fails to post with 3900x installed regardless of bios versions available. CH6 rev 1.03 *Post code hangs on 07

so if you let it sit on 07 for a while it eventually cleared itself or you were rebooting continuously til it would post? *Just curious as I’ve been stuck on 07 since my 3900x arrived

Sadly still can’t POST my C6H/3900x combo with this bios either. Hangs on 07 post code like prior BIOS versions. Really appreciate the early builds though!

flashed the new 7302 bios with no change. I’ll let it sit for a while and see if it clears but doesn’t look like this round of BIOS updates will help us

I wouldn't call it a dumpster fire. Anything that can be released to a group of power users and tested is valuable information to engineering. It's not a wide release posted to their own support site...
