I must be missing something then, I recall you have Turbo Enabled on your machine right? How is it that even if i have turbo disabled, that results in less power/heat yet I still see discharge? :|

How exactly did you limit the framerate? Myself i did Vsync + Gsync always on from Nvidia Panel, and Vsync Enabled in any game, even if everything is limited to 60 FPS (...

2.5 hours of playing Dying Light on ultra preset/ turbo disabled = max CPU temps 76 and max GPU temps 72 , battery dropped to a 89% from 100.

Didn't help me, even if i change fan speeds to 100% then run some stress test CPU+ GPU, the temps would stay lower than usual for a few minutes, but after that i would see again the 95C+ on CPU even...

What if I purchased the notebook in a different country than the one I'm living at the moment? I got it in Netherlands but I live in Austria. Is it possible to send it directly to the service center?

Considering a RMA right now because of 3 problems, power drain,high CPU temps and my "W" key is making weird noises when pressed.

Did that yesterday actually, no external monitor but open back and laptop on the side, i thought that one fan was not spinning full speed but i was mistaken, both seem to be spinning at the same RPM...

Alright so i did repaste it today, the GPU temps dropped by 2-3C but the CPU is still in very bad shape.

While the GPU stays between 74-78C the CPU goes all the way to 92C+ with 100% usage, and...

What method did you use when you applied the new thermal paste and only for CPU/GPU...?
I didn't open mine yet so i don't know what to expect but there's a video on youtube and the inside looks...

GPU is ¬75-76C reaches 79-80 only when using furmark,CPU is a problem tho, i even tried to disable turbo, was getting around 85C, so no idea really why the temps are so high.

Quite interesting, i also have -0.150 on CPU, but it didn't help much with temps, i was hitting 96-97 stock, now it's around 90-91, and only in GTA 5 it reaches up to 94C, How it your GPU reaching so...

Came across this topic and the discharge problem only 3 weeks after i purchased the laptop, could only return it to shop after 2 weeks.
