Hello guys. May i ask who had install Fallout 4 on their Asus ROG G55? can this laptop play this game? *Dear god i'm hoping this laptop can play Fallout 4 on decent setting*

Well i hoping it is software issue. I mean it can read data dvd but not factory original dvd. How is that possible

I have bought wireless mouse and wireless earphone to watch the movie on my bed like boss, but alas there is problem with dvd drive :(

yes, first time i open region tab, the region is not set. So i set it to Malaysia, but still nothing happen. :(

i'm trying to watch factory original movie. When i put in the disk, the dvd drive will spin for a while, but nothing happen to DVD RW Drive. It is as if no disk was inserted at all

i'm going to use window media player.

My dvd drive would not read movie dvd anymore but can perfectly read & write blank dvd. When i first bought this laptop, it can read the very same movie dvd that i cannot watch right now

i feel you bro. My G55 rubber coating also came off at the edge after only 2 month of use :(

Is it playable? I mean with 30-35FPS do you notice any lag?

I agree with tieko. Lots of computer shop adviced me no to buy asus because of customer service. Nevertheless i bought G55 last year. Thank god its working in perfect condition.

Ok i think dstrekele is right. Myabe the pin is bent of something. The thing is if i don't push the jack all the way, the earphone work just fine. i will try other earphone. Thank you guys

I tried to use earphone just now. When i plug in to watch movie, dialog volume is low, but i can hear the background music of the movie. This is not the earphone problem because i tried plug it on my...

1)Placement of USB port is less than ideal. There is 2 usb port at right side. Suppose you want to plug something might hinder your mouse movement.

Battery life is not an issue for me. I'm more concern about rough handling. My old laptop screen broken because i put both of my hands on the lid when i'm on the bus..

Is there any significant gaming performance improvement? Assuming we overclock G55 GPU without messing with bios or somehting?
