Edit: Just noticed that there's a "API for DRAM modules" section. I tried using the functions listed there, but I get "Unhandled Exception:...

I don't think ASUS should support products from generic/clone brands; it wouldn't make sense for them to develop software for companies that aren't partnered with them in some way or another. They...

Exactly! And what I find even more ridiculous is that they most likely already have all the code necessary to make a proper SDK in the existing AURA software.

Let me be clear though – I think it's...

I guess we'll just see what happens, though it'd be nice to have a more definitive answer than just "we're not sure" (and not have blatant lies on the information page).

    I'm just really sad right...

Note: By "3rd party devices", I mean Asus Aura partner devices.

I have to say that I'm a bit confused as to why the SDK doesn't support 3rd party devices yet. The AURA Sync software supports all...

Turns out it's not stable at all running at 3200 MHz right now, so I've put it at 2800 MHz until I have more time to screw around in the BIOS.

    Yup :D

Just installed my replacement motherboard, updated to BIOS version 1403, and was able to get my RAM to 1.35 V and running at 3200 MHz!

I sent my board in for RMA and Newegg's going to replace it. Since they tested it on their side also, I'm guessing there was in fact a problem with the board, but we'll see for sure when I get the...

Alright, so I set DRAM voltage to 1.35 V and the termination voltage to 0.675 V (it changed automatically to 0.697 V) and reset but it still didn't apply. I think I'm going to have to contact ASUS...

I reinstalled BIOS version 1403 and it's still stuck at 1.090 V. I've also tried my RAM sticks in another PC and I can confirm they run properly at 1.35 V on that motherboard.

Just tried doing that, but again I can't set the voltage for some reason. Everything gets applied except that, and because of it, putting DDR4-3200 makes my machine fail to boot and reset.

I just tried different DIMMs, just in case it was the memory acting up, but the same issue arises. I also tried switching slots on the motherboard, to no avail.

    Thanks for the quick help!

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be doing anything. I set both to 1.35000 V and it sticks to 1.090 V.

I'm not sure what to do here since one of the first...
  18. Getting G.SKILL F4-3200C16D-16GTZR to 3200 MHz on the Hero

I just got a new Crosshair VI Hero motherboard and G.SKILL F4-3200C16D-16GTZR RAM and everything seems to be working perfectly except for the fact that I can't get my RAM to run at over 2400 MHz....
