There is no such thing as an XMP III Profile......only I and II and Auto.....would love to see a pic showing the XMP III you speak of ;)

^^^^ Keep us posted as I have same kit (replacing Dom 5600 C36 which OC to 6000 C36 no issues) to run on my Apex Board.....working till 18 Feb, so have to wait!

Apex is one of the best Boards for running RAM......at this point I wouldnt pay much attention to the minimal list.
Better off to reach out on Forums and you'll get a good idea of what we're all...

- load defaults in BIOS and reboot then
- flash bios to latest
- once again load defaults in bios after flashing latest bios reboot

With everything at default including Memory running at 4800...

I have heard good things...Hynix over Sammy.....presently my Samsung 5600 C36 OC fine 6000 C36.....but I couldnt resist and have this 6200 C36 in transit from Taiwan ....

Apex fine .....same kit OC's far better than any previous Corsair Dominators as the 5600 C36 kit is Samsung....previous were Micron....mine are at 6000 C36 with very little effort :)

Clean install Windows on your laptop then NO bloatware and stay far far away from AC ;)
