Yes, you can downgrade no problem. It is the same process as updating.

Try resetting BIOS to default settings and reboot then try sound again.

I couldn't agree more. I had a good run with AC over many many months and multiple updates to the app/services.

Now my motherboard or RAM is not detected and the app is very laggy and crashes...

That does seem strange that it would of been removed.

I suggest you follow the cleanup instructions and do a clean install.

The Virtual Mixer is part of the Gen2 drivers package.

Only Gen2 drivers will be offered in this thread going forward as per below.

I would use the 3.5mm on the back of the motherboard and let it do the processing.

Don't use front panel jack as the quality is not the same.

What memory slots on the board are you using, you should be using slot 2 and then slot 4.
