Being a bit bored, I finally gave a try to the "newest" Z490 bios, 2403, which has been released as beta since October 2021, and uploaded as official on Asus's website months later. Typical Asus.

don't worry, it might have been a very short power outage, some other devices may not feel it if these are very short, but PCs are a bit more sensitive, or maybe even a mobo spike, had in the past...

if it happened just once, I wouldn't be too worried... could be anything in the end, independent from your computer
if it will happen again, just open a RMA ticket stating that you have a 3090 and...

What is the manufacturing date? This can be easily taken from the S/N - first digits are the year and month.
if it's 20, then is manufactured in 2020 and might need to be updated, there are some...

Apex XIII is a pretty crappy board, should have read a line or two before buying it...
I gave up on mine after three months

try 0903, might be a bit more stable with that...

in general, most of the times the FW updates involve security updates
unfortunately, a FW update also...

they won't fix a thing, Asus is not anymore what was used to be... the so-called technicians are messing things each bios they release etc

get a hammer, smash your Z590 and buy a Z490 and 10th,...

I've been there. First step Z590 & 10th, then fully went to Z590 & 11900KF, although it's 2021 and had to go from 10 cores to 8 cores :)

wrt RBAR - not sure if 1003 is Nvidia RBAR "optimized", maybe just AMD back then, I also tried it with newer bioses......

yeah there are lots of errors with this one, BUT some of them disappear if you disable RBAR (for 3XXX series) and keep just TWO (2!) USB stuff - mouse and keyboard, that's it... and there will be...
