Hang on.. the physical dimensions of an AC 8260 is completely different from an AC 7260.. isn't it .. You definitely were able to slot in an AC8260 on a G751JY ?.. I don't see how that could work ?...

Mate, did you replace your AC7260 on the G751## with an AC8260 ?

4 years on.. there's literally no way to source an OEM battery for the G751JY .. anywhere in the world ? Regardless of what I want to pay ?

That is simply down by popping the battery for 5...

The battery chipset and/or chemistry in either the G75#'s or just the G751 is horrible.

I have a G751JY (211 BIOS), and looking at running a Samsung 970 EVO NVMe M.2 drive (MZ-V7E2T0BW) in replace of my existing Samsung MZHPU256HCGL M.2...

My G751JY came with a ST2000LM003 (9.5mm thick), wondering if anyone has upgraded their SATA drive to anything thicker ? i.e. 15.5mm ? Too thick ?

Umm... Ok.. so I've had my G751JY for a year and, like all other batteries.. aka chemistry is horrible.. it has slowly degraded to the point of 45 or 30 minutes runtime..
I don't want to remove it...
