Remove any overclocking including XMP profile


Reseat the CPU cooler and CPU and report back.

Remove the CPU cooler and CPU whilst checking for bent pins, then reattach cooler whilst making sure mounting pressure is even.

For best performance you want to be in 1:1 or Gear 1. Enable XMP then select 3600MHz & 1:1 DRAM Freq Ratio and see if the system posts.

Different data patterns result in different swings in current, which is why one stability test might find instability whereas another one will not.

Sounds like a red herring. If you've cut the AC to install the cooler, it's possible the system has retrained the memory so the settings were already somewhat conditional.
