I use the same SSD as you do however because I also use Intel RST (Optane HDD Acceleration) the Intel RST has taken over my main OS SSD disk and I am unable to find my disk using Samsung...

I did exactly that. Installed windows offline and used the chipset driver from the main asus website which for some reason it does not exist anymore.
