The VRMs on this motherboard do not heat up much, it seems
I do not know if it would be useful a waterblock

On my R6E, with a waterblock, the VRMs are at ~ 50° (Realbench)
And with the Encore,...

I had already asked for an ekwb and watercool for a waterblock (for this motherboard) but none planned waterblock

VRMs have "good temperatures" with this motherboard (with an OC) then ?
It seems that it heats a little less with the 6pin plugged in addition to 2 8pins

For Skylake-X 79xx, I stay with the 49 :D

Personally I do not bother with these security patch, they exist for 10 to 20 years (Spectre, Meltdown, etc ...) and we lived very well with :D :D

The 1937, is version package, the version drivers is different
The last version drivers is 1919.14.0.1269 and with 1937, the version driver is 1914.12.0.1256
