i usually get that after a clean OS install then i just go in to bios and change my boot order to the SSD , did you just did a clean install or did you replace your HDD?

what about in device manager do you get some kind of error ?

have you tried uninstalling and re installing the usb drivers ? what does it show in device manager for the usb ports ? does it have the yellow icon or does it said hardware not found ?

I believe that is an auto underclock on the CPU to save battery and life of the CPU, but if u want all your cores running all the time you can unpark them just follow this instructions...

im not sure but i think its always at 798 until you do something intensive that requires to turbo boost the processor , the thing about disabling bd -pro is that turbo boost is more stable before...

check that the proxy option is unchecked , control panel, internet options, connections, lan settings,proxy server for lan box make sure is unchecked.......

why does the g74sx has a lot of problems with the lcd's ? i had to take mine to best buy twice to get the screen replaced , is the quality of our screens bad compared to other laptops in this price...

i have not read of anybody actually trying and failing at a gpu upgrade so i cant say for sure that it is not possible but maybe booster have , in any case if u still want to try it good luck to you...
