    Hello,

This sounds a great deal like a mounting issue if it's intermittent. I would advise removing the motherboard from the enclosure and retesting if possible. Check for even mounting pressure...

How often do the crashes occur?

Is the CPU overclocked / AI Overclocking enabled?

Given there's a large number of different stop codes, I'd consider removing the CPU and reseating. Check for any bent pins and reseat the cooler whilst checking for even mounting pressure. Also check...

    Hello,

The Extreme is only validated up to 6400MT, you may have to accept that 6600 is unobtainable. Tune for 6000-6400 where possible.

I'm using the EKWB Velocity and have no real gripes with the block. It's only when pushing circa 1.4v+ that the current becomes a little too much for the cooling to handle.

    Hello,

Remove any CPU overclocking such as PBO

Run Karhu Ramtest for 1000-1500% and check for errors at XMP settings.

As above, it's easy to sound like a broken record, however, troubleshooting 101 always remove any overclocking. This includes XMP. Thread exception stop codes can quite easily be instability.

Very much a how long is a piece of string question. Depends on a multitude of things, not least of all the CPU IMC strength.

Try these values for 6800, assuming you're using the Apex.

    Hello,

Have you tried without XMP? Troubleshooting 101 is to remove any overclocking. XMP very much falls into this category.

    Hello,

This section is somewhat ironically ONLY monitored by ROG staff, so I'm not sure what you're asking given you've now posted in the correct section but without an actual question. ;)

    Hello,

2 DIMMs are preferable on this particular board due to the daisy chain topology. 4000C19 is preferable, however, manual tuning may be needed. 3600 ratio should be mostly plug and play for...

    Hello,

As you've already alluded to, the CL40 6000MT kit is Samsung and the kit you're using now is Hynix. The two kits aren't really directly comparable. It's no easy task dialling in multiple...

    Hello,

Overclocking is never guaranteed, DDR5 is no different. Speeds above 6000MT may require manual tuning on some CPU (most often with VCCSA and Memory Controller VDD)

It's not always down to weak IMC problem but an alignment one. Some CPUs and memory kits are more comfortable at certain voltages (VCCSA/MemorycontrolVDD) than others. Ergo, it's not always "more"...

    Hello,

Speed won't be an issue. The only real downside to utilising the DIMM.2 slot is the module sits fairly close to the residing DIMMs, so you may wish to look into some active airflow on that...

Stick to the slots as allocated in the manual to utilise the correct number of channels/speed. There are reasons at an electrical level why these are the preferred slots.

    Hello,

You say you eliminated cooling as the problem, however ultimately that's all it can be. Sounds like a mounting issue or the block isn't particularly good at cooling this CPU. The former...
