That is actually incorrect the monoblock cools the same as a EVO, and a dedicated VRM block will always be better yes but thats not the point the monoblock is better than standard cooling for the VRM.

TDP was always 165 even on 79**X series.

I use corsair 120LL fans I leave them on max RPM which is only 1500 and these hardly make any noise but they also don't cool to well there more for looks it seems lol, but they do the job long hours...

It really depends on what you use it for? I moved from a 7900x to a 7940x as i got it really cheap so it gave me a reason, you should really manually tune your CPU to find its sweet spot, my 7900x...

Yeah the extra height makes up for the removed glue, so what was the issue with it and yeah the LM has a affect on the copper, I've had mine installed for 2 months with no issues so far I run 1.245v...

Direct die will always be better because your removing that extra peice of metal, also did you use the rockit or a ebay IHS?

Monoblocks work great with a delidded chip and a copper IHS mate, just as good as a normal water block, if you have no experience in the matter maybe not give out invalid info to the community!

Yep it's a bug Asus needs to fix and BIOS's have been pulled down I have no idea why but my guess it's because of this issue, so your temp reading will be off until it's fixed.

Check the TJMax in realtemp if it's 110c then it's just a bios bug and I wouldn't worry about it, if both BIOS's read 105c then there's some other issue.

Weak IMC which isn't handling 4000Mhz on the your memory, pretty sure increasing system agent voltage helped or drop you memory down to 3900mhz and see if the problem is still there.

Yep was removed because of the TJMax bug also Asus is trying to cover that up by deleted peoples posts about it.

BD is from a weak IMC maybe you have your memory set to high for your CPU to handle, XMP is never guaranteed.

Its just for looks a cosmetic shield for your M.2 Drive.

Bios updates hardly ever improve CPU overclocking and some actually make it worse, if you getting bad results its more or less your CPU isn't a good clocker.

It sounds like your BIOS chip is bricked the only way to recover it is by flashing it in a programmer, funny thing is this issue happened a lot when using the bios copy option to flash one chips bios...

Yeah that version like all the others just craps out for me trying to start, using 1.5.18 seems to work with no issues.
