What kind of disk is your secondary disk? SSD or spinning rust? Does the BIOS see the drive?

The BIOS, which is what matters, sees the 64GB just fine. What more, the CPU has a limit of 64GB. I am willing to wager a large sum of money that a BIOS update could sidestep the error I am running...

Fixed it. Latest BIOS + AHCI mode = win.
