In one of the manuals I have reviewed, only 27W is supplied to the PCIe slots without that cable. Adding it supplies 60W of power. I would install it.

Anyone know how well this new platform works with DDR5? These kits run from 4800 to over 6000. Not sure where to start here. Can’t find anything at GSkill’s site. Timings appear so loose too, but...

I might disable rebar in the bios, reboot into windows, reboot again and reenable rebar in the bios and see if that does it. I don't know otherwise.
