Are you installing Windows in UEFI mode?

I can't confirm it for you because I don't own the heatsink. But the fan looks like it's clipped to the heatsink. So you might be able to raise it. Try contacting CoolerMaster to confirm.

Disable XMP for now and see if the problem shows up with system on stock.

Have you tried reseating the memory modules?

Remove your components and test them outside the case. Use the motherboard cardboard box as a testbench. See if the problem still persists.

You can always set a more aggresive fan curve.

If possible, do a fresh Windows installation with the latest build and NVIDIA drivers. See if the problem still persists.

For 4K gaming, the Strix GTX 1080 Ti is definately the only model you should look at if your budget allows.

The Trident Z RGB sticks measure 44 mm. Perhaps yours might fit if you can raise the fan a little.

Temperature monitoring is independent of the changes you make to the fan header. It will always be present unless you disable it. As for fan control, how many cables do the S36 have? Most AIOs...

Have you tested your system at stock?

If you have a valid key, try doing a fresh install instead of upgrading from on revision to another.

If I recall correctly, you must disable CSM before installing Windows 10. If you installed Windows 10 with it on, then it won't let you disable it.

Clear your CMOS. Look inside the BIOS. Does the motherboard pick up all four sticks?

Does all four sticks get picked up at default speed (2133MHz)?

Try using 100 BCLK instead. DDR4 3000 should run fine on 100 BCLK.

If it's greyed, then it probably doesn't support that function. That header is for AIO pumps after all. Perhaps you can try the High AMP fan header.

Just make sure to purchase a single 32 GB memory kit. Don't go mixing and matching now. ;)

Disabling memory training can shave a few seconds of your boot time. However, I wouldn't recommend it though.

Game crashing is definately sign of overclock unstability. Normally if you overclock the memory too high, you'll start to notice artifacts on your screen.
