None of that should be needed...regular standoffs...
None of that should be needed...regular standoffs should place the MB in the correct position...if that's not the case...no pun intended...I'd see about getting the case replaced

The case should come with standoffs on which to mount the motherboard. You just have to make sure the standoffs are in the correct alignment and there are none out of alignment with the MB holes
