The fans should turn off after your monitor has cooled down. You may have to send in your monitor to get this fixed.

FPS and and refresh rate are two different things. Your FPS is most likely capped at 144 fps (do you have it locked?) Please try using their FPS reader that's built into the game. If your card is not...

Have you tried Aura Sync software with just one card and running it as administrator? If this does not work, something is wrong with your AURA sync, which will require an RMA

I recommend you use overclocking mode to get the most out of your video card.

It's best you just do an RMA and not try to replace things on your own, especially since you're in warranty.

Have you tried this monitor on another computer and display port cable?

I'd just get 2080ti and skip the 2080 entirely

It looks fine to me. Try setting brightness between 30-50, and blue light levels to 4 and see if you see any improvements.

When you overclocked through the OSD, did you make sure the screen restarted? Also, try changing the hz through the NVIDIA control panel.

Make sure you have the latest AURA SOFTWARE for GPU and run it on Administrator. Keep in mind, there are two separate AURA programs- one for MOBO and one for GPU.

I think the scratch will be considered CID (customer induced damage), so won't be covered by warranty.

Sounds like a defective display port cable.

That's a firmware issue, and you're going to need to send it in for an RMA.

The game engine is capped at 60fps, so you cannot run 144hz/100 hz in this game.

It should be fine. The LED should only change once you use the program again.

Have you tried another monitor? I've heard of cases where monitors are making crackling noises.
