Rather than older versions of bios, its the old microcodes inside which bring more performance. So u can mod a newer bios with old versions of microcodes, like 29 in CLX, and your rig will work a bit...

I am testing right now, no problems so far, except for I had to restart router and reconnect cables. I saw it at station-drivers and had to edit it to allow flashing my mobo.
