It shows the performance hits of the mitigations pretty well so far with every change while for example audio encoding software reacts very different to the patches.

Newly patched WIN 1903 µC B4 for the 8700k

If anything it decreases performance by a minimal amount since you mitigate another vulnerability.
CrytalDiskMark is pretty much the same with my RAMdrive and still by the same amount faster...

For my Coffee Lake retpoline doesn't work but enabling the new optimizations in registry ...

If i visit the driver page after i was at the ROG forum the ROG cookies seem to confuse the driver page. Deleting all cookies solves the prob in Firefox. I use the cookie autodelete add-on.

UAD 8564 install fine and the drivers are properly shown in the device manager.
NO console anywhere. Installing the one from the store goes into an endless error->trying...

I will wait for UAD drivers until Win 10 1903 is done. It is really like beta testing atm. In 1903 they also open the Sound System settings when clicking the Windows own volume symbol in the tray....

Sorry for my Off-Topic. My Z370-A throttles because of VRM heat with mild overclocks already when tools report 150Watt for the 8700k while a cheaper ASRock z370 has no problem to deliver 200Watt....

What GPUs did you try? I had a similar prob with my GTX 970 until i updated its ROM.
