Update to the latest BIOS on the other chip. Test your system. If it solves the issue, then you can stick with it. If not, you can always switch back to the other BIOS chip.

Check the Boot Device list in the BIOS. Make sure your SSD/HDD with the OS is the first entry. :)

Then you're all good to go.

From an airflow perspective, experiment and see which one works better for you.

The memory will work fine as long as your CPU's IMC is capable of running it at that speed. :)

Each CPU and platform is different. There's not a 100% foolproof formula. You just have to have patience and tweak until stability is achieved.

Assuming none of your components are faulty, check your VROC array. I'm using FCU with a Strix X299 and a i7-7820K just fine. :)

I doubt it would make a difference. The IMC is on the CPU after all.

Try reflashing your BIOS.

Because a lot of changes happen behind the scenes from BIOPS to BIOS. Just write your settings down on a normal piece of paper when updating the BIOS.

Did you install Windows in UEFI mode?

You can use GPU Tweak II to find out. :)

Clear your CMOS and see if your system detects all four memory sticks. If not, test each stick individually and see if they get picked up.
