Are your upgrading your storage or starting fresh?

Also prioritize your M.2 as the boot drive.

Extreme = geared for superior overclocking (More settings)
Formula = geared towards watercool enthusiast

Can you provide more details on your motherboard, I'm having a hard time figuring this out for you. Is it ASUS or MSI?

Try clear your CMOS and check if you have any other applications that control RGBs. You can also check your settings in your BIOS to see if Aura is disabled.

Due to the nature of AMD there will ​fluctuate in voltages.

Sorry for the delay can you check if your CMOS battery is clamped down by the pins, if not try making sure there enough pressure applied by the pins to the battery.
