The advice on Rog have some of the best people giving it.

The z97 platform have only 16 lanes of pcie bandwidth,with 2 way sli they are used up.

The x99 platform on the other hand has 28 pcie...

you will need a i5 4960k to overclock. intel k cpus are overclockable.
