Idle: 29C/35C

Problem solved! The pump was broken! Everything is working again.

I'm running on stock now! Still high temps. Next weekend i'm going to lap the 3960X.

I've tried another cooler. The same high temps.... lapping is an option because there are some little scratches op the CPU surface. I have 300/600/1000/1200/1500/2000/2500 paper to lap.

I've installed another H100 but the same problem persists.

1: reinstalled 3960x with new coolpaste
2: monitor 30 mins temp in bios---> Still above 40 idle
3: prime 95 (3,9Ghz) less than 1 minute to 71 C

I check the mounting H100i video and i did it like that. Now i reinstalled the H100i again but maybe i have to update the bios.

The system is standing alone nearby a window on a desk with more than a meter space between the obstacles.
I'm at bios default with 0,84V Vcore

The air of the H100I is blown inside the case since i made this system. If i will suck the air out of the case the temps are higher. 've tried another H100 and the problem remains the same!?????

it was reasonably hot but i was not convinced if it was a sensor issue so i reinstalled the H100I and i clocked the 3960X back to 3,7Ghz and the only sensor program is core temp for now.

I have Coretemp, HWmonitor and Corsair link but the AREXIV BIOS gives also high temps. Maybe i have to uninstall HWmonitor and corsair link.

Since a week or two i see that the temps of the 3960X are to high. The CPU is now without an OC (3,6Ghz) .

The 3960 is cooled by a Corsair H100i. Fans 40% idle Fans 100% under load
