Hey , what is the latest "Intel SERIAL IO GPIO INT host controller -INT3450 driver" for MAXIMUS XI Hero board?? I have 30.100.1841.2 from 10/8/2018.... If there is a newer one, please advise,...

i always load optimized defaults in bios, reboot into bios then i flash the new bios update, no issues .

i have sleep mode completely disabled so fortunately i do not have any kernel errors to speak of.

running well so far here...xi hero (wi-fi)

disreguard the ones on the official asus site, and follow the instructions carefully here for your motherboard which is a 370...

those are generally older than the ones that are provided in this forum which are the latest.

You need to install the 17.9.4 drivers because they are for the z390 chipset, 18.30 drivers are for the z490 chipset.

yeah i am still waiting for the "xi hero wifi" variant as well. mostly all the others have been released already even the non wifi variant.

if you have the non wifi version , you can go grab version 1602 and see if that helps..

im actually anticipating 1602 for the xi hero - wifi version to be out any moment so i can test its already out for the non wifi variant.

sounds like a case of someone eating fried chicken over at asus manufacturing, and forgot to wash their hands before assembling your mobo :-P

LoL as per that video that really is nothing to worry much about, as yes.. some of them do stutter a bit when clicked and dragged...i dont see much of it though on my 165hz montor, its more prevelant...

Also , disabling the intel gpu in UEFI bios is recommended.

Remove intel drivers and nvidia drivers, use DDU in safe mode to uninstall and wipe both, reinstall Nvidia drivers, no need to have intel drivers alongside nvidia drivers, which will more than likely...

Hey , If I dont get a installation complete or restart request, does it mean i have the latest version?

its essentially a z390 with more pins on the socket for the processor, and better wifi as far as we know.

first what is the exact memory module your using (vendor) and model #.. and have you used any XMP profiles? (XMP, XMPII)

I would recommend checking with another dedicated gpu, could be that the gpu is dead and nothing to do with the motherboard.
