You never know I guess. What I don't understand is if you can map fan profiles to on board components including the PCH, how can it be done efficiently if you don't know the temperature of the PCH.

I can't seem to be able to find an option for monitoring PCH Temps on this model. The MVI Hero had this option and the Z97 Deluxe has this option but I can't find on the MVII Hero with Aida64 or...

If I were building new system I would go with the new Samsung Evo 750gb when it becomes available. They are fast and not too expensive. It only took me once losing an array to say never again.

I agree. There should be an option to have the ROG logo power off when the computer is shut off. No reason to have it on all the time. Perhaps it could be added in a bios update?

The C1 issue will never affect me since I never put it to sleep. As I'm aware a bios update can not fix it, a hardware revision is required. I'm enjoying the board and it was well worth the wait.
